RESEARCH:
o A Light Weight Cryptographic Solution for 6LoWPAN Protocol Stack (C Programming)
 Paper presented at Science and Information (Computing Conference) 2018 London.
 Published by Springer in the book series Advances in Intelligent systems and Computing.
 This paper presents an implementation of a Lightweight 6LoWPAN Protocol stack by using a Light
weight Cipher instead of regular heavy encryption cipher AES.
 The lightweight cipher proposed in the paper needs only 1856 bytes of FLASH and 1272 bytes of RAM
which is less than any other standard existing lightweight cipher design.
 This paper also discusses the detailed analysis of cipher against Linear Cryptanalysis, Differential
Cryptanalysis, Biclique attack and Avalanche attack.
 The proposed cipher’s power consumption is around 25mW which is significantly less as compared to
ISO certified lightweight cipher PRESENT which consumes around 38 mW of dynamic power.
ACADEMIC PROJECTS:
o DONOR-X: Java, XML, Android Studio | Nov 2017 – Apr 2018
 ROLE: Android Developer
 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The aim of this project was to build an Android mobile application and a
website to connect organ and blood donors and recipients. A person in need of an organ or particular blood
group can check the availability of the same on the app. He will be connected to a donor or blood bank
having the required blood group nearest to his given location.
 An NGO, OBC Foundation India predicted a 45% reduction in organ non-availability related deaths once
the project is executed pan-India
 Shortlisted in the top six teams nationwide by e-Yantra Ideas Challenge (eYIC), conducted by IIT Bombay
and selected finalist at the Paytm BuildForIndia National level social innovation competition.

o REAL-TIME SINGER RECOGNITION: MATLAB | Jul 2016 – Nov 2016

 ROLE: MATLAB Programming
 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Singer recognition is the process of automatically recognizing who is
singing based on the information contained in the audio signal. Singer recognition is carried out in
2 phases: In the Training phase, the singer has to sing something to provide audio sa mples. These
samples enable the system to build a model for that singer. In the Testing phase, the input audio is
matched with the stored reference models and a decision is made.
 Used decision tree for classification of singers.
 Wrote a library in MATLAB to extract Energy, MFCC, Pitch and other spatial domain features from audio
samples.
TECHNOLOGY/TOOLS:
 Languages: C, C++, Python(Numpy, Pandas, Keras, Scikit-Learn), Java, SQL
 Scripting: BASH
 Databases: MySQL, HBASE
 Technologies : HADOOP, Machine Learning, Hive, Spark, Impala, Sqoop, Hue, Oozie
 Android Studio, MATLAB, Jupyter Notebook
EXTRA-CURRICULARS AND ACHIEVEMENTS:
 Head of Department Advisory board of E&TC department at PICT in 2017-18
 Class Representative for 3 years (2015-18).
 Leader for “Start-up Weekend” August 2015
Organiser: Google Title: Travellution Category: Social cause
Project: Car Pooling Interface
Description: Android Application to facilitate car-pooling and thereby reduce traffic pollution.
Selected finalist in the event across 50 teams in Pune. This initiative aims at bringing multiple
passengers together and facilitating them with cars on sharing basis.
 Participated in and won several inter college and intra college competitions on electronic circuit designing
and C programming.
 Awarded Pune Municipal Corporation scholarships for scoring over 90% in both 10thgrade and 12th grades.
 1st Rank in class in 2nd and 3rd year of engineering (class of 75 students).
 Awarded certificate of merit for securing 3rd rank in department of 240 students.
