The research focuses on the perception of students towards the governance of the
ARSC officer’s year 2017-2018. The survey will be conducted on the senior high school
students to be exact. This research seeks to know the different views of students on how
the Student Council functioned and what they’ve done so far that catches the attention of
students this year. In connection to this, the researchers decided to spend their time
lurking for answers that could help if the Augustinian Recollect Student Crusader

Research Methodology
Research Design
This study occupies to find out the student’s perception about the governance of

This study was conducted at St. Augustine Academy of Bayawan, Inc., known to
be the only existing private Catholic School in the City of Bayawan. This institution was
said to be headed and administered by the Augustinian Recollect Sisters. It was founded
on the year 1948. It is located at National Highway and in front of the Sto. Thomas

The participants on this study are the Senior High School Students of St.
Augustine Academy of Bayawan Inc. There are 31respondents in this research, out of it,

To provide and gather as much information and relative evaluation, the use of
survey questionnaire was applied. The survey questionnaire of our research was used as
narrative questionnaire which can be answered in essay form. It is divided into four
sections. First is the profile, contains the name (optional), age, gender, grade and section.
The second part consist of personal, student’s welfare and lastly perceived problems
questions.
The survey questionnaire contains five items questions. Thus, its goal is to
provide and distinguish the students perceptive regarding the governance of the ARSC
Officers.
The researchers were able to gather data by knowing the perception of the
students towards the governance of the ARSC officers through the use of survey. The
researchers made use of a survey questionnaire to collect data suited to their concerns.
The researchers were also able to apply a non-participant observation to support the

The researchers conducted a survey in the Senior High School .There are 124
Senior High School Students in St. Augustine Academy of Bayawan Inc. The 25% of the
overall Senior High School population were the respondents (31 students). Out of 31
respondents, 15 were male and 16 were female. Based on the gathered data, 70% (22

students) of respondents said that they are not in good terms with how the officers act
especially in dealing with their duties. The 30% (9 Students) of the respondents, on the
other hand, said that the officers are responsible and has managed to handle their
responsibilities. Furthermore, the officers are semi- responsible because majority of the
Senior High School students who responded have not seen any changes in our school. So

SUMMARY OF FINDINGS
This study was conducted for the purpose of knowing the perspective of the
students towards the governance of their role models and leaders, which are the ARSC
Officers this academic year 2017-2018. A descriptive type of research was used to
survey, to observe, and to interview the respondents, the research were able to gather data
data. The selected thirty-one (31) students from the secondary level are the respondents.
Out of the thirty-one (31) respondents, 15 are male and 16 are female.
