Armi Grace Nava is applying to the Bachelor of Science in Psychology program at Earist Cavite Campus. She realized in her senior year of high school that she did not enjoy computer programming and wanted to study human behavior and the mind instead. She is interested in psychology because she enjoys observing people and reading about personality types and how they influence human behavior. Her goal is to practice medicine in the future by becoming a surgeon and working in a hospital emergency room. She is applying to Earist because it offers free tuition which would benefit her financially.

I’m Armi Grace A. Nava, 17 years old, an introverted individual. In my Senior High school year
the strand I did take is TVL- ICT- Programming, it’s a good subject, but my heart says otherwise.
By the 1st semester of Gr.12 I realized that I don’t like to work on computers, I want to study
about human mind, observing people is one of my expertise, I love doing that. I’m also a good
listener and have a positive mindset. I love reading fantasy books and doing art especially
drawing, I discovered my talent last year and I’m working on practicing that skill of mine.

I’m introduced to the field of psychology by the age of 16, I really wished I become exposed to
this a bit sooner. Once I started reading articles, blogs regarding to the four temperaments of
personality it opens my mind and it leads to self-growth, that’s the reason why I became
interested in psychology, I would like to learn more in depth about human behavior, how people
think, their perspective, personality and habit. I can apply psychology for almost anything that
can help me for future purposes like study habits, communication/public-speaking skills, and
especially making life decisions. And what really interested me the most in this field is the idea
of diagnosing a patient with psychological disorders and treating them.

Due to financial reasons I wanted to enroll in Earist, since Erist offers a free tuition and
miscellaneous fee, it would be a huge benefit to my parents they won’t need to worry in paying
for that. My cousin is studying psychology at this school and informed me that the professors are
really good.

I see myself 10 years from now practicing medicine, the first goal I set for myself is what kind of
career I wanted to do, and I decided I wanted to study medicine and become a surgeon. I would
really love working in a hospital specifically inside emergency room, a fast-paced environment.
Also a good artist, when it comes to drawing.
