WEEK 1

On the first day of immersion after we got aboard at mssc pcg we were sent to
their so-called function hall to get the different units they had. They then escorted us
throughout the building and took him to our unit to introduce him to our office mates.
After that I introduced myself to them and so did they. That first day I didn’t apost do
much because they did a lot. I was given a brochure to read information from their
department. And in the days that followed, I did things like repeat unit work, doing
tabings and what else I wanted to do that fit my job as an on the job trainee.

WEEK 2

On the second week of Monday we were told to invite our guests to join in their
usual morning colors every Monday. Then we went straight to MSSTI where we had our
day-to-day appointments. And by 8am we were heading to our offices to work. Every
day we spend in the office we observe what and how much work they do. During my
observations I realized that they were not doing so easily but I could see that they
enjoyed their work even though they were not as skilled at their job as they were
apprentices. I am fortunate to have such good and good associates in my office as well
as others. Every day I enter immersion I learn not only about their work but also about
their working relationship

WEEK 3

In the third week after the morning colors and finishes we were reported to our
units to say that we would be included and boarded in a rubber boat and sailed to the
sea to experience such an experience ė the sangley point. While we were at sea I saw
how happy my comrades were and so was I. Every Tuesday and Thursday we join the
coast guard personnel. Each day we supervise and assist with tasks.

WEEK 4

For the fourth week of immersion and because of some measles some of
my comrades they decided that we would be out for a week's rest and that the
coast guard personnel would be infected.

WEEK 5

In the fifth week we still do Morning colors on Mondays and athletics on Tuesdays
and Thursdays. When they have free time, they teach me some easy jobs. I often look
for the files they need your day. It is also common to receive what I do and still have a
cellphone in the other unit to call elsewhere.

WEEK 6

For the last week, we still did what we used to do. And because we didn't
do much, we often stopped at their shipstore. We were cleaned out of the shipstore
because it was too loose and they didn't have time to clean it because of the
amount of work they did so we cleaned it. We also often meet with some staff there
when they have free time.And this is the last week of our immersion we decided to
observe more and help them.
