GRADE 7 AND 8

I. Objectives:
At the end of a 60-minute period, the students are expected to do the following:
a. Identify the baking tools and equipment
b. Enumerate baking tools and equipment and their uses
c. Develop a greater understanding about the topic presented

II. Subject Matter:


Lesson: baking tools and equipment and their uses
Reference/s: BREAD AND PASTRY Page 1-12
Material: visual aid, Realias

III. Procedure:
A. Daily Routine
1. Greetings
2. Prayer
3. Checking of attendance

B. Motivation: “word Puzzle’


 The students will be divided into two. Each group will be having puzzled words to be
solved. Ask the students if they know the lesson based on the answer from the
puzzled letters.

C. Presentation of the Lesson:


 The teacher will now discuss the baking tools and equipment and their used.

D. Lesson Proper:
 The teacher will explain the connection of the activity to their lesson for today.

E. Activity/ Enabling Task;


Students will be group into two. Then call each representative to pick up one folded strip
(already prepared by the teacher). Each representative will enumerate the tools and
equipment.

IV. Generalization:
 Volunteer students will be called to summarize the lesson.
V. Evaluation:
Direction: Match columns A with column B. write the letter only.

B. Motivation

“Word Puzzle’’

The students will be divided into two. Each group will be having puzzled words to be arranged
and paste it on the board. Ask the students to give their ideas about the words fixed. The first to
finish the activity will get a special price.

C. Presentation of the Lesson:

The teacher will now introduce the baking tools and equipment and their used.

D. Lesson Proper:

Ask the students to identify and explain the connection of the activity to their lesson for today.
Let the students enumerate the tools and equipment in baking.
Allow students to participate and cooperate actively in the class discussion.

E. Activity/ Enabling Task:

Students will be group into six. Then call each representative to pick up one folded strip (already
prepared by the teacher) which includes the following words: 1) what are the tools in baking?
Give at least five items, 2) Name the equipment in baking, 3) give the types of ovens? 4) Define
tools? , 5) Define equipment? 6) What are ovens?. Each representative will answer the question
they picked.

IV. Generalization:

What is the essential of learning the uses of tools and equipment in baking?

V. Evaluation:
