Guitar Playing Test Rubric

Student's guitar playing was evaluated based on 5 categories: posture, right and left hand technique, rhythm, note accuracy, and musicality. The student received a top score of 5 in all categories demonstrating excellent posture, proper hand positioning and technique, a secure beat and accurate rhythms, playing all notes correctly with proper fingerings, and confidently following all musical directions.
