Impact of Globalization On Environment

Globalization has both positive and negative environmental impacts on the Philippines. It has increased consumption, leading to more manufacturing which puts strain on the environment. It has also expanded the transportation sector, causing more air pollution. Specific issues include increased carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gas emissions, smoke from industrial activities and transportation, higher overall pollution levels, and depletion of the ozone layer. While globalization has economic benefits, its environmental effects need to be mitigated, such as by reducing reliance on fossil fuels and limiting industrial pollution.

I. INTRODUCTION

Background of the Study

Globalization had far-reaching effects in our lifestyle. It has

brought about fastest era and innovation. Apart from playing an
crucial position in bringing people of different cultures,
together, it has economic prosperity and has opened up full-size
channels of department. Globalization has also created some
region of challenge and outstanding amongst these is the impact
this is had on the environment. Globalization has brought about
an boom inside the consumption of products, which has impacted
the ecological cycle, extended intake leads to an boom in the
manufacturing of goods. This is flip puts strain at the
environment. Globalization cause boom delivery sector and it
cause harmful pollutants inside the environment. Due to the
globalization it lead other environment impact like noise
pollution and landscape intrusion, various gases ends in the
depletion of the ozone layer. Globalization additionally cause
industries and it expanded commercial wastage chemical and badly
affected on soil.

Globalization brings each superb and bad impacts to the world and
mankind. It covers the macro modifications of climate and
surrounding as well as the modifications on human living,
politics, economics, trade, legal system, civil societies and
transportation from a relative micro view. It does not solely
connect to the people in the earth closer, but as Theodore
Panayotou cited that it is an integration that encompasses
financial integration, political interplay and facts
technological know-how and culture.

By growing the interplay and diploma of dependence of

international location, the correlation can be wonderful in some
factors in some international locations, however it can also
create terrible output now not only affect to the counterparts
however to the normal mankind.

Among the pros and cons evidences from distinctive viewpoints, we

would agree that the most typical interest of mankind is the
lives of human being in the planet. And natural surroundings is
precise what we share and often own.

Therefore, in this paper, we will take a look at the linkage of

globalization and surroundings followed with the aid of the
argument on the environmental influences brought by using
globalization. At the end, we will conclude how to prolong the
benefit of globalization to the environment yet to limit the
impact.

Performance of Globalization

Globalization process and indirectly effect on environment.

1. CO2: in 1980’s scientist on the intergovernmental panel for

climate change believe that increase in carbon dioxide
emissions is due to human activity. Globalization introduces
industrialization, due to industrial activity many
environmental problems occurs like deforestation and
destruction to biodiversity.
2. Smoke: The green house effect is the casual explanation for
climate change. Increased co2 and other GHG (Green House
Gasses) present in atmosphere due to transportation GHG
emission is increase there has been an 86% increase in GHG
emission from 1994 to 2004. Between 2005 and 2007 indian
airlines companies ordered 500 new aero planes. In india
electricity generation still largely involves burning coal
and oil.
3. Rise in pollution level: increase in consumption of fuel are
responsible for rise pollution level amount of fuel that is
consumed in transporting these products has led to an
increase pollution level. It also led to several other
environmental concerns such as noise pollution and landscape
intrusion.
4. Depletion of Ozone layer:
