Literature Survey (1) Smart Atm Security System Using FPR, GSM, Gps

This literature survey discusses four papers related to ATM security systems. [1] describes a system using RFID cards, IR sensors, GSM, and fingerprint identification to enhance security. [2] focuses on two-factor authentication using RFID, OTPs sent via GSM, and sensors to prevent misuse. [3] demonstrates how ATM theft can be prevented using vibration sensors, GSM, motors, gas leaks, cameras, and notifications to police. [4] proposes a system that uses mobile phone authentication as a second factor after PIN verification, and includes countermeasures like buzzer, door locking, and notifications if authentication fails.

LITERATURE SURVEY

[1]SMART ATM SECURITY SYSTEM USING FPR, GSM, GPS:

This paper gives the description of the new approach towards the security of
ATM (Automatic Teller Machine) systems. The objective of the paper is to
know the Enhanced smart ATM security system which is developed using the
Embedded system and advanced technologies. In this system RFID card is used
as ATM card, IR sensor in order to sense the presence of the card holders and to
turn on Fan and Light, if ATM is tampered then SMS is sent to two main
stations via GSM. GPS is used to track the location in case the cash box is
robbed. Finger print is used to identify and verify authorized bank personnel.

[2]TWO FACTOR AUTHENTICATION FOR HIGH SECURITY

BANKING ATM USERS:
ATM being used today are very essential for banking services. As both credit
and deposit can be done using ATM, the security factor is important factor on
which this paper concentrated. In This paper both security and reliability is
considered. As RFID tag used no information can be hacked, as OTP is
generated no password can be guessed, as sensor in machine placed no
misbehavior can be tried.
The growth in electronic transactions at ATM has been increasing and so there
is demand for fast and accurate user identification and authentication. Generally
user has to provide two means of identification, one of which is a physical
token, such as card and other of which is something memorized constant code.
This project work aims at improvising the security and authenticity of ATM.
Instead of memorized code in this project work to generate random OTP (One
Time Password) which is sent to mobile through GSM model and RF-ID reader
to receive the user information. At the time of wrong input code (3 times) we
would transmit video to control station via camera, as there would be more
monitors to display it is made as in this way that if the person is trying any
defaulting it would switch on monitor which need authentication and also when
ATM machine is disturbed.

[3]Design and Implementation of Security Based ATM theft Monitoring

system:
This paper demonstrates how an automation of “ATM THEFT” prevention from
robbery (or) thief can be implemented using GSM Technology ,vibrating
sensor, dc motor, stepper motor, LED display, buzzer with keil micro vision 3.0
can be implemented in ATM Machines center.
In This paper prevention of ATM theft from robbery is discussed to overcome
the drawback found in existing technology in our society. Whenever robbery
occurs, Vibration sensor is used which senses vibration produced from ATM
machine. Here the system uses ARM controller based embedded system to
process real time data collected using the vibration sensor. Once the vibration is
sensed the beep sound will occur from the buzzer. DC Motor is used for closing
the door of ATM. Stepper motor is used to leak the gas inside the ATM to bring
the thief into unconscious stage. Camera is always in processing and sending
video continuous to the PC and it will be saved in computer. RTC used to
capture the robber occur time and send the robbery occur time with the message
to the nearby police station and corresponding bank through the GSM. Hear
LCD display board using showing the output of the message continuously. This
will prevent the robbery and the person involving in robbery can be easily
caught. Here, Keil tools are used to implement the idea and results are obtained.
keil tools is used for run the DC motor and stepper motor for automatic door
lock and also leak the gas inside the ATM.

[4]Protected Cash Withdrawal in Atm Using Mobile Phone:

In this paper the proposed system is based on microcontroller is found to be

more compact, user friendly and less complex which can readily be used in
order to perform several tedious and repetitive tasks. Though it is designed
keeping in mind about the need for industry it can extended for other purposes
such as commercial and research applications. Due to the probability of high
technology (GSM) used this “Protected Cash Withdrawal in ATM Using
Mobile Phone” is fully software controlled with less hardware circuit. The
feature makes this system is the base for future systems.

In recent days different access control methods have been proposed to secure
the ATM Transaction from unauthorized access. This paper describes a method
of implementing two way authentication. The first one is normal PIN
verification method and if the password is correct then it goes to the second step
of authentication (i.e.,) two way authentication method. In that if the authorized
person replied YES through their mobile, then corresponding transaction takes
place. Otherwise it switches ON the buzzer, automatically close the door of
ATM centre and LCD will show the detail about ATM theft to the higher
authorities.
