Artist Management Report
Artist Management Report
Three artists that I have considered working with are Kim Irvine, Sophie Channing and Hollie
Robinson. Kim Irvine has a total of 99.2k followers on her social media pages. Kim is
committed to writing and composing her own songs. She performs regularly at venues such
as King Tuts Wah Wah Hut. Kim Irvine is interested in finding a manager to help her make
more contacts in the music industry. Sophie Channing has a smaller fan base of 517
followers but is growing bigger every day. I have seen Sophie perform before and really
enjoyed the performance. Due to Sophies age at the moment she is more interested in
finishing school before she begins to commit to her music. Hollie Robinson has a total of
3563 followers on her social media pages. She plays regularly at venues such as The
Amethyst and Classic Grand. Hollie is not interested in writing her own music yet as she is
focusing more on her schoolwork.
I have chosen to work with Kim Irvine because she is extremely enthusiastic when it comes
to music which I think is a good quality for an artist to have. Kim has already grown a good
fanbase which I feel I can help her extend more. She is also fully committed when it comes
to writing music and performing. Overall, I feel like Kim and I share very similar interests
when it comes to the music industry.
Here is a conversation I had with Kim about managing her where I explained the roles I
would be taking over for her.

Music release
We are hoping to have the single recorded and finished by February 2020 for it being
released in March 2020. We will be posting sneak peaks from the recording studio on social
media pages for fans to see. Once the song is released, a short clip of it will be posted on
Kim’s social media pages with a link attached for fans to listen to the whole song. Kim will
also be playing a gig at the Classic Grand in Glasgow where she will be able to promote and
perform the single. Incomings of the music release will be music sales and gig ticket sales.
Outgoings will be recording costs and artwork costs.
The first social media page we will be launching is on Facebook. Facebook is one of the
largest and most used social networking sites in the world. The second social media page we
will launch is on Twitter. Twitter has approximately 320 million users a month and is largely
used by artists and fans. We hope to have both these pages launched by the end of
November 2019. On these pages we will post information about the music release and also
tour dates. Kim can use the pages as a way of communicating with her fans. Sneak peaks of
her merchandise will also be posted on social media pages. The overall objectives of these
campaigns are to communicate with fans and also to keep fans up to date on what Kim is
doing. The website will be launched in December 2019. On the website we will have
information about Kim and how she started her singing career. The merchandise will also be
displayed and sold on the website.
