The pie charts below show information on the highest level of education of women in

Someland in 1945 and 1995.

The pie charts compare the data of women on 7 different stages of education in Someland in

1945 and 1995.

Overall, a notable change was recorded in the rate of educational achievement of females in

Someland during a 50 years period. Whereas in 1945, the rate of “no schooling”, “third grade”

and “year 6” made up the majority of the total, there was a contrary after half a century as these

three categories completely disappeared on the chart.

According to the chart in the year of 1945, the proportion of the women did not go to school and

finished school at at third grade had the same proportion of 35% and took up to 70% in total out

of the others. A 15% of females showed they entered primary school but just 10% of them

completed to 9th grade. Whereas 4% of women graduated year 12, only 1% made it to the first

degree. Nonetheless, sadly that none of these women could continue their study to get the post

graduate.
Nevertheless, after a period of 50 years, the education level among women in Someland

remarkablely improved as every woman was able to go to school and up to half of total women

got their first degree. 20% of them moved on to university for post graduate and with the same

rate, females who finished year 12 were 5 times more than that in 1945. Same proportion of 10%

of women would not left school until they completed year 9 in 1995 of Someland.
