Give 5 regions in the Philippines and their folk dances. Identify its place of origin, its type and give a short description. Follow the

Region I- Ilocos Bayambang, Basuan Wedding dance  is a lively and colorful dance
Region Pangasinan  it is often danced at weddings and
fiestas.

Region V Bicol Pantomina Wedding dance  according to Aquino, the dance was also
called Salampati, during the Spanish

and their visitors.
Region IV-B Mindoro Pandanggo sa Courtship dance  playful folk dance that showcases a
MIMAROPA Ilaw unique fusion of local and western

 it simulates the light and flight of fireflies
at dusk or dawn.

Eastern Island male approaches and courts a lady in a
Visayas form of dance.

dancing event is never complete without
the kuratsa.
 is often performed on social occasions,
stage play and weddings.
