I. Duration: 5 days (October 21-25, 2019)

II. RATIONALE
Appraisal and feedback have a strong positive influence on teachers
and their work. These increases their job satisfaction and, to some degree,
their job security, and it significantly increases their development as
teachers. Department of Education (DepEd) perform such through Midyear
Performance Review and Evaluation (MPRE).

MPRE educates and empower the teachers in spirit of constructive


trainings and venue that provide opportunities for directing and
harnessing their potentials and idealism into worthwhile activities.

Training is very significant as it imparts information or instructions


to improve the recipient’s performance to help them attain the required
level of knowledge or skill.

This year’s MPRE is scheduled on October 21-25, 2019. The


activities will involve Plenary topics about IPCRF aligned in PPST, SBM,
SIP/AIP and monitoring of programs previously undertaken. It is also a
time for segmented sessions about competencies not covered with catch-
up plan, health awareness, action research and review on least learned
skills and Learners’ materials (LMs).

III. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the MPRE, the participants would have:
1) Revisit IPCRF and align with the PPST
2) Make individual catch-up plan and development plans for
competencies not covered and least learned skills
3) Review of programs and projects previously conducted
4) Capability Building on IM Production a review on the learners
materials
5) Strengthen spiritual aspect of teachers

IV. EXPECTED OUTPUT
At the end of the MPRE the following outputs are expected;
1) Reviewed IPCRF
2) 100% attendance of teachers
3) Developed individual catch-up plan and development plans for
competencies not covered and least learned skills
4) Tabulated the list of competencies not covered and made catch-up
plan
5) Produced instructional materials for lacking LMs
6) Spiritual Goal of teachers

V. METHODOLOGY
