Anticipated Assignment End Date: March 31, 2014 (unless the Client exercises a contract
extension option)
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
e-Careers is a web-based tool for recruitment that provides portal access for internal and external
candidates to job postings within the OPS. There are planned and in progress requests for changes
related to e-Careers. These requests are to provide fixes, technical upgrades and enhanced functionality
to the application critical to business improvements and sustainment. The development environment
includes:
A Systems Analyst, Level 2, is required for the ASP.NET/VB.NET/Web Services/SQL Server to provide
analysis and development in a team environment to support and service the e-Careers application as
required. The Systems Analyst will determine design requirements for new functionality and
enhancements within the existing application.
CLIENT’S REQUIREMENTS
Services and Deliverables to be provided by the Vendor’s Personnel will include the following:
Adopting the standards, methods, and procedures identified in the design and ensuring the quality of
coding meets the identified standards.
Working with the existing team under the general direction of the project lead/application architect.
Deliverables include, but are not limited to:
Providing technical documentation associated with system development and design.
Leading and working cooperatively with other developers to meet design specifications.
Coding/programming that meets design specifications.
Meeting deliverables as stated in the project plans.
Providing documentation on system integration testing.
Working Hours – The Client’s normal working hours are 7.25 hours per day, between 8:30 a.m. to 5:00
p.m. (excluding lunch breaks), Monday to Friday inclusive. If required, the Vendor must agree to provide
services outside these hours at the request of the Client. Consultants are not entitled for overtime
payments. Any Services performed outside the normal business hours will be paid at the Per Diem Rate.
