Background Information for Learners

Baking can be a lot of fun, but without the right equipment, it will only cause you a lot
of headaches. Just as a mechanic requires the proper tools for fixing a car, you’re going
to need the proper tools for your baked goods. Baking is a sophisticated method of
cooking food. It requires tools and equipment to bring out the best results.

Before, the dough mixture was poured on heated stones to bake it. But nowadays, there
are many kinds of baking tools, utensils, and equipment out in the market that can be
used and utilized in the kitchen. Using these tools and equipment appropriately can lead
to each and everyone to be successful in baking. Thus, proper handling and use must be
observed in the use of different baking tools, utensils, and equipment.
