Three students are selected from the class at random, one after
the other, from tree diagram, find the probability that:
The first and the third are of the same sex, and the second is of
the opposite sex.

Solution:

P(GBG)= 15 𝑥 14 𝑥 13 = 𝟐𝟕𝟑 G B G

P=P(BGB)+P(GBG)= 91 + 273 = 𝟐𝟏
