1) The document summarizes proceedings from a group study session held at a university library. The moderator engaged students by asking about topics they had read beyond assigned materials and portions they did not understand. 2) During the exploration phase, the moderator asked questions to identify if students comprehended the lesson. Students had a collaborative discussion to share different facts. 3) The last section lists the 15 largest barangays in the Philippines by population in 2015, with a bar chart showing populations over 100,000. The largest barangay had 247,000 people.

Our first official group study was held on the university’s library which we know it

would be a perfect place for some misunderstandings we could just scan the books

there. As seen in the picture, our moderator Christopher asked us about the things we

have read beyond the topics that are assigned to us, and in which he had knew that

some of us didn’t understood portions of the topic. For some who did understand the

topic, the next proceeding will illustrate the collaborative brainstorming of ideas.

In this part, as the moderator have known about the portions who did understood

our lesson, he raised questions to identify if we really did read and comprehended the

lesson. For some who is not quite sure, we made a collaborative discussion which it

opened us different factual data that are useful in our statistics.

10. The entire series given below is the number of reported HIV cases in the Philippines

(DOH website) from January 1984 to March 2016.

Comment on the trend of the reported number of HIV cases in the Philippines.

The time series graph shows the relationship between the year and the mean number of

cases of HIV that was reported in the Philippines through DOH Website which started

on year 1984 until 2016. As you can see as the year goes on, the mean number of

cases also increases. On year 1964 until 2000, the movement of the point is actually

indeterminate since the difference of the mean number of cases in each year are

actually not far from each other. As we study the graph, on year 2002 the mean number

17 | P a g e
of cases suddenly increases and as it reached the year 2004 it also suddenly

decreases. Starting from the year 2005, the graph movements are already clearly and

easy to identify since the mean number of cases are already high.
