Technical Note: Resetting Sample Pump Electronics

Resetting the electronics of an AirChek XR5000 sample pump ensures optimal performance. To reset, disconnect the pump from its battery pack, press and hold the down arrow and star keys, reconnect the battery pack, and press the star key twice. This will reset the electronics, removing any leading zeros from the display and restoring proper functioning.

Resetting Sample Pump Electronics


AirChek XR5000 Sample Pumps
Resetting the pump electronics ensures optimum pump performance. To determine if electronics need to be reset, view the
pump LCD. It will display leading zeroes (e.g., 000 min instead of 0 min). To reset, follow this procedure:

1. Ensure the pump is disconnected from its battery pack.

2. Press and hold simultaneously the down arrow () and the star () keys. While holding these keys, reconnect the
pump to its battery pack.

3. Press the star () key twice.

The pump electronics will reset. To determine if the pump electronics reset properly, view the pump LCD. It will not display
leading zeroes (e.g., 0 min instead of 000 min).
