Order of events
Opening project Open the panchayat map given (Project -> Open).

Marking a new vector Click in the order layer -> create layer -> New shape file layer.
layer 'well' In the window that opens , Select layer type - Point.
In the place, New Attributes, add the attributes (Owner, Depth,
Expense, Water availability) one by one. Define what type each
attribute is (text/number...) Add each attribute by clicking on Addd to
Atribute List.

Save the layer in a folder giving the name 'well'.

Select the layer from layer box. click on 'Toggle Editing' Button for
activating editing tool. Click on Add Feature button, click at the location
where the well is to be marke and iclude the attributes.

Save the data.
