Order of events
Opening the Software Click in the order Application→Graphics→Inkscape Vector
Graphics Editor

Drawing circles and giving Draw an oval horizontally using 'Create Circle Tool'
shades (saucer) Click on the circle using 'Selection Tool' to select it.
Click in the order Object→Fill and stroke and click on the 'Radial
gradient' option in the fill Tab.
Click o the object using 'Gradient Fill Tool'.

Give a dark colour to the outline by clicking the node at the


boundary and lighter colour inside. Arrange the nodes to get it
proper shade.

Taking Duplicate Select the circle and click on 'Duplicate' in the 'Edit' menu.
Make it proportionatey smaller by pressing 'Ctrl' and 'Shift'
together and use selection tool to transform it.

Arranging objects To arange the second circle in the middle of the first one, Select
both objects and click in the order 'Object→Align and Distribute'
and use appropriate option.
Take more copies of the circle and arrange them to get the
shape of a saucer
Grouping Objects Using selection tool select the objects we want to group (Click
on the objects pressing the shift key) and click in the order
'Object→Group' or press 'ctrl' and 'g' together.

Save Save the file using appropriate name
