1. (a) (i) Use the laws of Algebra to simplify the proposition ( p ˅ q)˅( p ˄q)
(ii) Verify that ( p ˄q)→( p ˅q) is tautology.
(b) (i) Draw an electrical network for the proposition p ˅(q ˄r ).
(ii) Test the validity of the following argument; “If I like Algebra, then I will
study. Either I study or I fail. Therefore, if I fail then I do not like Algebra.”
2. (a) Use the Cramer’s rule to solve the following system of equations:
