used in Naturopathy viz. Enema-Colon flushing, Fasting,
Regular habits, sun bath, barefoot walking on grass, Hip-bath,
Spinal bath, Steam bath, Foot bath, Full immersion bath, Chest
pack, Full-wet-sheet pack, Mud packs, Chromo therapy-
Colour treatment, Mud therapy, Massage therapy, Magneto
therapy etc.

This Block has been divided into three units.


Unit-1 CONCEPT OF YOGA :
Introduces us to the concept of yoga and some of the
definitions from our ancient texts and authorities.
Unit-2 WHY YOGA ?
Presents the benefits of yoga according to various texts,
the methods for personality development at all levels.
Unit-3 BASIS OF YOGA
Discusses the basis of yoga & the Happiness Analysis.
BLOCK-2
Streams of Yoga
This Block has been divided into five units.
Unit-1 JNANA YOGA
Discusses the concept of Jnana yoga and explanation of the 18
verses chosen from Gita in eight steps.
Unit-2 RAJA YOGA
Discusses the concept of Raja yoga and explanation of the 18
verses chosen from Gita in eight steps.
Unit-3 BHAKTI YOGA
Discusses the concept of Bhakti yoga and explanation of the 18
verses chosen from Gita in eight steps.
Unit-4 KARMA YOGA
Discusses the concept of Karma yoga and explanation of the 18
verses chosen from Gita in eight steps.

This Block has been divided into two units.

Introduces us to the material culture, the myths of Aryan
invasion theory, aspects of Sarasvati valley Civilization.

Unit-2 MIND CULTURE


Discusses the Mind culture - brief introduction to Vedic
literature, & Snatana Dharma.
BLOCK-4

Life and Message of Spiritual Masters

This Block has been divided into three units.


Unit-1 LIFE AND MESSAGE OF SRI RAMAKRISHNA :
Presents us with life and message of Sri Ramakrishna.

Unit-2 LIFE AND MESSAGE OF MA SHARADA DEVI :


Introduces us to the life and message of Ma sharadadevi.

Unit-3 LIFE AND MESSAGE OF SWAMI VIVEKANANDA:


Gives us a glimpse into the life and message of Swami
Vivekananda.
BLOCK-5

Preparations for Postures

This Block has been divided into two units.


Unit-1 LOOSEN YOURSELF :
Presents some of the exercises to loosen the joints and
the initial postures for all exercises.

Unit-2 SURYANAMASKARA :
Discusses the Suryanamaskara which combines both
Yogasanas and Pranayama. It comes in between
loosening exercises and Yogasanas.
BLOCK-6
Yoga Postures
This Block has been divided into four units.
Unit-1 STANDING POSTURES :
Standing Postures introduce us the methodology of performing
some of the standing postures along with instructions for proper
breathing.

Unit-2 SITTING POSTURES :


Sitting Postures give the steps of performing some of the
important sitting postures along with breathing.
Unit-3 PRONE POSTURES :
Prone Postures discuss the step by step methodology for
performing prone postures with instructions to breath in and
breath out.
Unit-4 SUPINE POSTURE :
Supine Postures focus in the methods of performing some of the
supine postures and finally to Deep relaxation Technique (DRT).

Pranayama & Kriyas

This Block has been divided into four units.


Unit-1 BREATHING EXERCISES :
Describes the initial breathing practices.

Unit-2 PREPARATIONS :
Presents the definition, schools, postures for pranayama,
Mudras for Pranayama. Preparatory practices for
Pranayama & various types of Pranayama.
Unit-3 PRANAYAMA :
Unit-4 KRIYAS- CLEANSING TECHNIQUE :

Meditation & Devotional Music

This Block has been divided into three units.

Gives us the techniques of meditation and instructions
for Om Meditations and Cyclic Meditation.

This Block has been divided into one units.


Unit-1 THE EIGHT-STEPPED METHOD :
Explains how to arrange the classroom and gives eight-
stepped method for standing, sitting, prone and supine
asanas.

Karma Yoga

This Block gives you the trips to Karma Yoga and the work
Module. Combining our ancient yogic wisdom and the modern
methodology you can be a 'Karma yogi'.
