Semi-Detailed Lesson Plan in Mathematics 7: I. Objectives

The lesson plan is for a 7th grade mathematics class on frequency distribution tables of grouped data. The objectives are for students to define the terms in a frequency distribution table. The competency is for students to organize data in a frequency distribution table. The lesson will include reviewing past material, defining parts of the table, discussing the importance of tables, and working exercises to practice making and interpreting tables. Students will be assessed on their understanding through a test involving frequency distribution tables. For homework, students must make their own example table and calculate the relevant values.
