 The specimen shall not be removed from the structure until the concrete has become hard enough to permit its
removal without disturbing the bond between the mortar and the coarse aggregate.
 Specimens that show abnormal defects or that have been damaged in removal shall not be used.
 The location of reinforcement shall be taken into account before sampling.
 Core specimen shall have a diameter of at-least three times the maximum nominal size aggregate, generally it shall
be at-least 100mm.
