I. What are the nasal sounds?


a. Give six examples of words ending in each of the three English nasal
consonants.
b. Can you find all three of these sounds at the beginning of words in English?
Give three examples of each word initial nasal.
c. Give three examples of each nasal occurring in the middle of a word.
II. State whether the manner of articulation is the same (S) or different (D) in the final
consonants of each pair. In either case, state the manner of articulation.
