WORK PROGRAMME / METHOD STATEMENT

SCOPE OF WORKS

Design, Supply, install, test, commission and set to work Sewage Treatment Plant , Effluent
Treatment Plant and Reverse Osmosis plant , incorporating Membrane Bio Reactor Process.

1. METHOD OF OPERATION

2.1 LOI: On receipt of LOI from the employer, Aqua matrix shall attend the Kick of
Meeting as arranged by the Employer.

2.2 KOM: From the date of KOM and the Engineer’s Instruction, shall commence.

2.3 MOBILIZATION : During this period, Aqua Matrix Project Engineer shall submit all
Data sheets, Drawings, P&ID, Flow Diagram, Project Schedule etc., to Project
Engineer for Employer’s approval.

2.4 APPROVALS: Approvals of all Data sheets, Drawings, P&ID, Flow Diagram, Project
Schedule etc., shall be received from the Employer’s Representative within 7 days
of submission.

2.5 CIVIL WORKS: Our Project / Design engineer shall visit site at identified key stages
to verify the civil dimensions and elevations.

2.6 PROCUREMENT: Our Procurement team shall commence process of procuring


the equipment and fabrications. Proposed to complete the procurement by the
time of completion of Civil Works.

2.7 TRANSPORT: The procured equipment shall be transported to site during the civil
construction works.

2.8 ERECTION: The received equipment shall be parallel erected in coordination with
the completed civil works.

2.9 PIPING & CABLE LAYING : The Piping and cable laying works shall be carried out
after / along with the erection of equipment.

2.10 ELECTRICALS: All electrical works to be carried out in Coordination with the
mechanical works

2.11 INTERCONNECTING: All equipment shall be interconnected.


2.12 PRE COMMISSIONING: Pre commissioning checks shall be made and recorded.
Inspections of all equipment shall be made for leaks, connections, levels, drains,
workmanship etc. and corrected where required.

2.13 REMOVAL OF DEBRIS: All excess materials and debris shall be removed from site
and shall be disposed off.

2.14 COMMISSIONING: The Plant shall be commissioned, and processing initiated.


Employer’s representative shall arrange for inspection and issue of Completion
Certificate.

2.15 TOOLS AND SPARES: Necessary Tools and Recommended spare (2 years) list
shall be handed over to Employer’s representative.

2.16 OPERATION & MAINTENANCE: The Plant shall be optimized and handed over for
regular operation.

2.17 TRAINING: On provision of operators and staff, Aqua Matrix shall train them to
operate the plant.

2.18 HANDING OVER OF STP: The Plant shall be handed over to the Employer /
nominated contractor for regular operation & Maintenance.

3. PROJECT SITE

Soon after the KOM, the following shall be carried out during the Mobilization period.

• Relevant work permits will be obtained in advance for the work


commencement.
• Work site investigation shall be carried out to familiarize with overall project
scope, location of all existing above ground and underground services.
• Any existing drawing / document identified as being appropriate to the
contract shall be obtained from the Employer/ Engineer.
• The Project site area would be marked and necessary approvals taken from the
Employer’s Project Engineer.

4. PROCUREMENT

On receiving approvals for Materials & equipment for the construction of STP including
required spare parts, fittings, fixtures, and special tools as required shall be procured from
approved vendors.

Progress on all the purchase orders shall be monitored through a critical schedule which
identify those items of equipment and material are potential critical to the schedule and
require special attention to ensure timely delivery.

Appropriate remedial action shall be taken in concurrence with Employer/ Engineer for items,
which may lag behind schedule.

5. CIVIL WORKS

All civil works shall be constructed in accordance with specifications and approved drawings.

6. ERECTION OF EQUIPMENT

All equipment including Tanks, Filters, Blower, Pumps, Electrical Panel etc., shall be erected
in accordance with specifications and approved drawings.

7. INTERCONNECTION OF EQUIPMENT

On erection of all equipment, the Tanks, Filters, Blower, Pumps, Electrical Panel etc., shall be
interconnected in accordance with the process as specified for the approved option.

8. PRE COMMISSIONING

On erection and interconnections of all equipment, the Tanks, Filters, Blower, Pumps,
Electrical Panel etc., shall be checked as per the Pre Commissioning Procedures prepared on
the recommendations of the manufacturers / vendors.
On completion of the Pre Commissioning Procedures’ the check list shall be submitted to
the Employer’s Representative for their records.

9. COMMISSIONING

Prior to commissioning a commissioning procedure shall be prepared and got approval from
the Employer’s representative.

On readiness and on an agreed time and date the STP shall be commissioned in the presence
of Employer’s representative and checked for proper operation of all equipment and confirms
that the complete system meets requirements of design and operating philosophy.

In case of any corrections required during commissioning by the Employer’s representative


a punch list shall be made and mutually signed for corrections within a time agreed upon.

On satisfactory completion of commissioning, a commissioning report shall be submitted to


Engineer/ Employer for acceptance and issue of Completion Certificate.

10. AS BUILT DRAWINGS AND O&M MANUALS

After commissioning, all the corrected and final drawings and the Operation & Maintenance
Manual shall be submitted to the Employer’s Representative.

11. OPERATION & MAINTENANCE

On satisfactory commissioning of the STP, the plant shall be optimized with a regular flow of
intake and initiating the activated sludge processes.

All the specified parameters of sewage water and treated water checked and reports from a
reputed laboratory shall be submitted for acceptance by the Employer.

An operation and Maintenance Chart shall be prepared and visibly installed in the
equipment room for enabling the operator to follow the schedules of operations of the STP.

A log book, as approved by the Employer’s representative shall be initiated and maintained
for recording the operational parameters for records.

12. TOOLS & SPARES

All Spares and Tools for the STP, List shall be handed over to the Employer’s representative
for procurement and storage.

13. TRAINING

The Employer’s personnel identified for operation of the plant shall be trained by Aqua
matrix staff during the operation & Maintenance period. The details of trainings shall be
mutually agreed and as approved by the Employer’s representative
14. PERSONNEL

• All civil works shall be carried out TICEL.

• M/s. AQUAMATRIX SYSTEM will carry out the erection and commissioning of the
various plants.

• Project Management Team consisting of the personnel as indicated in the Project


Organization Chart.

15. PROJECT SITE WORKING HOURS

The Project site working hours shall be 10 hours X 6 days a week.

16. SAFETY

Safety at work place is our prime concern. We have been working with a good track record of
maintaining safety at work site.

Aqua Matrix / approved Sub Contractors’ staff are acquainted with safety practices with
adequate safety trainings as per workplace safety and health acts. Aqua matrix Project
Engineer and Site Engineer are responsible for the day-to-day safety at site.

17. BASE CAMP

Accommodation for the crew will be provided in rented houses in the nearby town of work
site.

18. COMMUNICATION

Mobile (GSM) will be used at site for communication between project site & Aqua Matrix
Head office.
