At the end of this lick there’s another example of how to create a little tension.
Although the natural scale for this chord progression is D# Aeolian (D# E# F# G#
A# B C#) I used a little bit of melodic minor (D# E# F# G# A# B# Cx). You may find it
easier to think of the last two notes as C and D, rather than the more correct B# and
Cx (C double-sharp).
