In a regular A minor blues turnaround, you’d expect an Em-Dm change leading back to the Am, or
maybe an E7, but here we have Fmaj9 and F#7#9. In this case, Jess doesn’t change anything; she
just sticks to A Dorian (A B C D E F# G). The line in measures 5-6 is especially cool, with a little Am9
arpeggio leading chromatically into an Am6 descending arpeggio.
