1. Applications & Features
Working Based on existing GSM/GPRS network and GPS satellites, the tracker can locate and monitor any remote targets
by SMS or Internet. Track exactly where people and or vehicles go:

Button Function Description

Button Meaning

¾ On standby state, press this button 2secs, tracker will dial to the preset phone number A

¾ During picking up, press this button to hand free; press again to turn off hand free.

¾ On standby state, press this button 2secs, auto-dial to the preset phone number B

¾ During picking up, press this button to increase volume

¾ On standby state, press this button 2secs, auto-dial to the preset phone number C

¾ During picking up, press this button to increase volume.

¾ On standby state, press this button 2secs, auto-dial to the preset phone number D.

¾ When incoming call, press it to pick up call.

¾ Power On: when the device is off, press the button to power on, tracker will enter standby mode.

¾ On standby state, press this button 2secs, auto-dial to the preset phone number E.

¾ Hang up: during picking up, press this button to hang up call.

¾ SOS: on standby state, press this button over 3secs, there will be a shake-remind, then release the
button, the SOS alert will be sent out.

¾ Turn off: on standby state, press this button, there will be a shake-remind;
keep pressing, the music will ring, then release the button till music end to turn off the tracker.

5. Installation
5.1 Open the back cover of the tracker: ( install as following picture shows):

Press the hook of covers to open the tracker.

5.2 Insert SIM Card: Insert SIM Card as following picture shows:

6. Operations
6.1 Charge Battery

1) Plug the charging adaptor (or USB charging cable ) into the tracker USB port.

2) Plug the adaptor into the electrical outlet (or computer USB port). The Power LED turns on.

3) Charge until the red Power LED turns off on tracker

【Note 1 】 Before you can use the tracker, you must fully charge the battery at least 8-12 hour for first use and can be charged
fully in 3-5hours for second use.
【Note 2 】 Please use the battery and charger provided by the manufacturer.
【Note 3 】 User should charge the battery at the room temperature.
Battery will not be properly charged if the temperature is lower than 0 ℃ or higher than 45 ℃.

6.2 Turn on
When the device is off, press button to turn on the tracker, all LEDs will light and the music will ring, then it
enters standby mode.

6.3 Turn off


On standby state, press button, there will be a shake-remind; keep pressing, the music will ring; then
release the button after music end, tracker turns off .

6.4 LED Status Indicating


GPS LED: (green): Off-----------------------GPS off or invalid
Quick flashing---------getting the GPS fix
Slow flashing--------- getting the GPS successful.

Power LED: (red)


When charging: Flashing once per 4secs-----------charging
Illuminating continuously------------charging is complete

On standby mode: Off-----------work normally


Flashing once per 10secs-----------lower power alert

6.5 Factory Default: Recipient: Non


Password: 1234
GEO alert: off
Time Zone: +/-0000
GPS Status: 0
Receiving Call: Disable

6.6 Modify Password


Send the SMS to the device: Setup ok, the reply SMS:

*PWD*Pxxxx# Password has been changed!

【Note 】 > xxxx refers new password. It is constituted by 4 ASCII codes.


> Factory default:1234.

6.7 Setting up Recipients

Send the SMS to the device: Setup ok, the reply SMS:

Change or Cancel recipients: Re-set with new numbers via phone call or SMS..

【Note 】: ① A,B,C,D,E indicates the SOS recipients or dial number A,B,C,D,E;


xxxxx…indicates the recipients mobile phone number. Max: 20 digits.

② “+country code” must be added when SMS format requires


SMS Format: + Country Code + mobile phone number.

【Exp 】: Recipient A,C setup: *1234 *A+8613666504824*C+8613666502528*D132555666#


(+86 refers to China code; 136xxxxxxrefers to Recipients mobile number)

③ Recipient number shows blank if you do not set up it.

6.8 Quick Dial
■ Make a call
Press and hold the button for 2 seconds to dial out. During dialing tone, button LEDs are flashing. When it
calls through, the LEDs turns off.

During a call, press the button to cut off.

■ Receive a call

When there is an incoming call, the button LEDs are flashing and ring. Press button to answer the call.

If you need not pick up the call, press button to stop.

Receiving mode setting up:


◆ Only pre-setting recipients numbers can call the tracker:

Send the SMS to the device: Setup OK, the reply SMS:

*PWD*RNG:1# Ring Limit : Enable

◆ No limitation of incoming calls:

Send the SMS to the tracker: Setup OK, the reply SMS:

*PWD*RNG:0# Ring Limit : Disable

【Note 】: Factory default: no limitation of incoming calls: disable

6.9 Set up Time-zone


Send the SMS to the device: Setup OK, the reply SMS:

【Note 】: ‘+’ is east zone; ‘-’ is west zone

【Exp 】: Setting up East 8 zone(GMT+08:00), the SMS is *1234*GMT+0800#


West 3:30 zone(GMT-3:30), the SMS is *1111* GMT-0330#

6.10 GEO Range Report: On/Off

On: Send the SMS to the tracker: Successfully, the reply SMS:

【Note】: >> N/S is LAT. and E/W is the LONG. of the range center; format: degree

6.11 GPS Work Status Setup


Send the SMS to the device: Successfully, the reply SMS:

【Note】: · X=0: GPS power save mode (GPS is initiated every times GSM base tower changes)

· X=1:GPS ON
· X=2:GPS controllable ( User sends *PWD*W# query command to initiate GPS. Then GPS turns off.)

6.12 Monitor
Send the SMS to the device: Successfully, the reply SMS:

【Note】: X=0/1 0: Call from GPS device to the preset monitor phone number.
1: Call from the preset monitor phone number to GPS device number.

y= 0-99: monitoring time(unit: minute). 0---no limitation, end by user hanging up.

6.13 Resume to Factory Default


Send the SMS to the device: Successfully, the reply SMS:

6.14 Wrong Message


If the password or the format of the command text, tracker will reply:

7. Alert Report
7.1 SOS Alert
User can press the "SOS" urgent key for 3 seconds when users have emergency. there will be a shake-remind,
then release the button, the SOS alert will be sent out.

■ The tracker will send the help message to the pre-setting number A,B,C,D,E

When the backup battery power is under 10% ,it will send a SMS alert to all pre-setting recipients.

8.2 Status Query


The GPS tracker uses GPS chipset and GSM module to enable GPS and LBS dual tracking.GPS is available and accurate in
most time. But in case there is no GPS or weak GPS signal, the device uses LBS(location based service)to track a person or
assets. LBS data is less accurate than GPS. It is just for your reference.
Send the SMS to the tracker: the reply SMS:

8.5 . GPS Status Query

【Note】: ■ X=0:GPS OFF (GPS is initiated as GSM base tower changes. After GPS initiation, it turns off)
■ X=1:GPS ON
■ X=2:GPS controllable ( User sends W query command to initiate GPS, then it turns off )

8.6. Query Power Remains Value

9. Fault & Solutions


The Chart below shows the possible unusual conditions and methods to solve the problems; you may try
solving the problem according to the suggested instructions before consulting the service engineer.

Faults Solution

Startup Fail Check the battery and see if it is fully charged or correctly installed.

After Power on, no LED Check the SIM card and see if it is correctly installed.

Dial to the SIM card number on the tracker and make sure it could connect.
Can’t received the sms report
Or make sure enough deposit in the SIM card to avoid any inconvenience.

GPRS can’t upload data of Check APN and IP/port setting is Correct.
longitude and latitude

Hang up Fail In existence of an authorized number, an unauthorized number dials up the


unit. Please initialize the unit and re-set up the authorized numbers.

Monitor Fail Check if the authorized number is setup or in the coverage of signals.

Location report in digits of Don’t use it in the place beyond reach of signals. Place the unit outdoors,
zeros. especially when starting it up.
