1 “Where Did the first Mass Take Place in the Philippines”?

Butuan or Limasawa.

Without being disrespectful much less smart alecky, I have combed through Pigafetta in its couple
of English translations. There is absolutely no doubt that mass was celebrated in Limasawa on
March 31, 1521, Easter Sunday because Pigafetta did say so.

In fact, in June 19, 1960, legislation declared Limasawa a National Shrine because it was there that
“the First Mass in the Philippines was held.”

Base on readings and artifacts of historian it is no doubt that it is Limasawa.

2.Caviti Mutiny

Let me start it by simply defining what is Caviti Mutiny? My answer is brief as it could be it is the
brief uprising of 200 Filipino troops and workers at the Cavite arsenal, which became the excuse for
Spanish repression of the embryonic Philippine nationalist movement. Ironically, the harsh reaction
of the Spanish authorities served ultimately to promote the nationalist cause.

Although it didn’t last long this incident was use by the Spanish authority to hunt down those
Filipino crying for governmental reform.

This is the birth of the famous 3 martyr priest known as GOMBURZA, Padre Gomez, Padre Burgos
and Padre Zamora, they were the executed in public to warn those who’s trying to go against
Spanish Government.

The cry of Filipinos to have independency those times that result a bloody ending.

3. Did Rizal Retract?

There are allegations that Rizal wrote a letter before the day he will be executed, it state there that
re denies and retract all the unhuman, unequally and unfair treatment of Spanish government he
disclose in his writings.

No he didn’t really retract it was the Spaniards dirty tactics to spread rumors that Rizal retract on
the same day he will be executed at Bagong Bayan. It only shows how Spaniards are eager to cover
their dirty government. It was a desperate move by the Spanish government because they knew
after Rizal’s death people will look after his writings to seek for the truth.
4. Where did the cry of rebellion happen?

The Cry of Rebellion happens August of 1896, there are a lot of controversies arise as to when and
where it really happen, some say it was when Bonifacio tore the cedula along with other
katipunero, while others says it was when Aguinaldo comminsioned the “Himmo of Balintawak”
With the reports and study presented, there is a markable disagreement where did the cry of
rebellion really happened. The cry of rebellion really happen in 4 places Balintawak, Kangkong,
Pugad Lawin and Bahay Toro this places have different dates in the same Month and year.

Some reports shows that the Cry of Rebellion really start at Balintawak the reason behind of others
places and dates of because the movement of Andres Bonifacio and the Katipunero in the time his
envading the Spanish Government.
