COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The course deals with the principles on business operations along the areas of marketing, financing and production processes, small and medium entrepreneurial
activities.

Course Learning Outcomes:


At the end of the course, the students should be able to:
1. Internalize the Vision, Mission, Goals, and Objectives of the University
2. Trace the history of management from classical to contemporary approaches.
3. Describe the classical and contemporary approaches is management.
4. Identify the different management concepts and functions for effective management and leadership.
5. Give the importance of planning in management.
6. Create a sample organizational structure.
7. Discuss the recruitment and selection process of identified organization.
8. Enumerate the importance of control in the management function.
9. Explain the business environment and the ways in managing it.
10. Describe the significance of upholding ethics in running a business
