GLASS / HARD PLASTIC POLICY

The policy of TRUNG NAM TAY NINH CO., LTD with a view to control foreign
matters that can affect the safety and quality of products.
Glass and hard plastic will be minimised within production areas. Glass and hard plastics
is still used but this will be restricted.
All glass and hard brittle plastic will be recorded, documented, investigated and
periodically audited for integrity, breakage or damage.
All incidents / breakages will be treated serious and documented.
All glass light bulbs will be replaced with suitable shatterproof plastic light bulbs or
enveloped by net.
All employees must be bound to report any glass or hard plastic breakage. Any breakage
occur to a glass or hard plastic items should be made outside working hours, including
the repair and replacement.
Glass and hard plastic will be detected by X-RAY machine and classification employees.
All our products will pass through a metal detector, which is our Critical Control Point
(CCP) at company. The company employs metal detector in production line. The product
contaminated with metal will be isolated and kept on hold in a designated area.
Production personnel will report to Production Manager/Supervisor who will then contact
Food Safety Coordinator/designate. HACCP Coordinator will inspect the product and
will follow standard operating procedure for metal contaminated product on hold. The
metal detector will be checked at specified intervals with ferrous, non-ferrous and
stainless steel test cards to ensure that it is working properly and will be monitored and
verified by the HACCP Coordinator/designate on the production day.
