Chapter III

Management Aspect

Management is the process of overseeing and coordinating the activities of other

people effectively and efficiently to accomplish the goals of the organization. During

processing management by administering and coordinating works, functions of planning,

leading, and controlling are carried out by using organizational resources. Management is

important in existing the organization to achieve the purpose.

Management aspect deals with the organization and it identifies the basic

consideration to forming organization, Gantt chart, organizational chart, job analysis and

manpower schedule. This is to determine the option effectiveness of the organizational

set up and the qualification of the individuals who make up the organization. This will

also determine the successful realization of the study.

Objectives of the Study

This study proposed a certain possibility to achieve the following objectives:

1. To determine the policies that will implement to generate good quality in work.

2. To determine the goal with the help of the mission and vision of the business.

3. To smartly handle every duties and responsibilities given to the workers.

4. To keep an organized flow of management within the business.

5. To recognize and see if the product sells in the market and reach the business

target market.
Gantt chart

The Gantt chart is a variety of bar chart that shows activities or tasks on an

acceptable time scale. It helps to tackle the length of a certain task in order to accomplish

a particular task.

Pre-operating period is the fulfillment of the required pre-operational

specifications part of the process prior to the actual operation of the factory. Preparation
is the secret to achieving success in a certain industry. It requires extensive preparation

from the very tiny detail to the very important matter.

1. Form Project Team. To be able to establish the business, there should be people

who will form it. It is where the proponents will decide to form a team for the

project by December 28, 2020.

2. Planning and Conceptualizing. The proponent will start the planning and

conceptualizing the business by January 3, 2021 and will last for 29 days to be

able to know what will be the concept and the business will be.

3. Product Research. By February 1, 2021, the proponents will start the product

research since the business is trading company. The product research will last for

19 days.

4. Logo Making. After the product research, the proponents then are now able to

create a logo for the product by February 20, 2021 to February 27, 2021 to be able

to give face the desired product and to properly designed the logo according to the

proponents.

5. Find a Location. By February 28, 2021, the proponents will start looking for a

location for their physical store so that when the business is ready to operate there

will be a physical store for the convenience of their consumers. Location hunting

will take 22 days.

6. Chapter 1: Business Profile. Since the product and location is available, the

proponents will start creating a business profile to complete the first step of the

study as well as to properly start the business. The creation of Chapter 1 will start

by March 22, 2021 to April 3, 2021.


7. Survey. The survey will be conducted by April 4, 2021 to April 25, 2021 to

acquire what the consumer wants to expect and get from the product as well as the

analysis of the data gathered. Also, the proponents will distribute it to different

barangay around Pasig City.

8. Chapter 2: Organization and Management Aspect. The proponents will start

creating Chapter 2 by April 26, 2021 to establish the job position as well so to

identify the job description and job specification. In addition, the proponents will

also include the needed manpower for the operation. It will end in May 10, 2021

9. Chapter 3: Marketing Aspect. As the proponents continue with the project, they

will start to create the Marketing Aspect by May 11, 2021 and will end on June 1,

2021 to be able to know the demand of the product as well as to build strategies

for the market.

10. Meeting and Dealing with the Supplier. By June 2, 2021, the proponents will meet

with supplier of the product to talk about the deal between the proponents and the

supplier. The meeting and dealing will take 18 days to finalize the agreement.

11. Product Testing. The proponents will taste test the product by June 20,2021 and

will end on June 26, 2021 to observe how the product is being made to be

knowledgeable and familiar with the product they are going to sell.

12. Technical Aspect. The technical aspect will start by June 27, 2021 to July 11,

2021 by the proponents to know the strategies such as the pricing and marketing

strategies and how they will deliver the products to its respective consumers.
13. Paper Consultation. Paper consultation will happen on July 12, 2021 up until July

19,2021. The papers of the proponents will be checked by their feasibility study

adviser to know what are the things that should be change and improve.

14. Finalizing Paper. The proponents will start finalizing their paper by July 20,2021

and will end by August 1, 2021 to revise some of the part of the paper to be ready

for the feasibility study defense.

15. Capital Contribution. The proponents will start the contribution for the monetary

capital by August 2, 2021 of the business to ensure that there will be an available

money for the operation of the business. They decided that contribution will last

for 3 days.

16. Feasibility study Defense. August 4, 2021 will be the Feasibility study of the

proponents to know if the study they are doing is feasible to be a business.

17. Opening of Bank Account. The proponents will open their bank account by

August 5, 2021 to secure the monetary contribution for the business.

18. Business License and Permit. By August 6, 2021 up to August 13, 2021, the

proponents will start filing their business license and business permit to ensure

that the business operation is legal and following the rules of one business entity.

19. Cleaning and Designing the Store. The proponents will start cleaning and

designing the physical store by August 14, 2021 and will end on August 21, 2021

especially when there is something to repair and fix according to the plan so that

when the soft opening happens, the store will be pleasing and good.

20. Purchasing of Furniture and Fixture for the Business and Operation. By August

22, 2021, the proponents will start canvasing for the needed things for the
business to complete the whole look of the physical store. Canvassing and

Purchasing of things will end on September 5, 2021

21. Screening, Hiring, and Orienting the New Applicants. The proponents will start

screening the applicants for the operation. It will happen by September 6, 2021 to

September 13, 2021 including the hiring and orientation about the business

operation.

22. Business Advertising. Business Advertising will happen by September 14, 2021

onwards up until to the soft opening of the business. It is to promote the product

to people for them to be aware of the business and the product.

23. Soft Opening. The business will be open to the public by September 19, 2021.

The operating cycle is the average amount of time needed for a company to make an

initial cash outlay to manufacture goods, sell the goods, and obtain cash in return for the

goods from customers.

1. Soft opening. Soft Opening will run until September 25, 2021.

2. Purchasing Additional Eggpie from the Supplier. The proponents will restock

their product and order by September 26, 2021 up to October 2 2021 to ensure

that they will be able to supply their customers demand.

3. Advance Payment of Product to their Supplier. The payment will be done through

bank transfer from the proponents by September 27, 2021.

4. Payment for Delivery of Supplies. The proponents will pay the delivery fee of the

supplies on the day it will arrived by October 2, 2021.

5. Payment for Employees. The employees already incurred 1 month on operation so

the proponents will release their salary on October 3, 2021


6. Launching of Delivery of Products to the Customers. The proponents will launch

their availability of products through delivery courier by October 5, 2021.

7. Payment for Rent. By October 13, 2021, the proponents will start the payment of

their monthly rent to the physical store.

8. Payment for Utility. Payment for electricity and water will be paid by October 14,

2021.

9. Payment of Taxes. Since the business is in operation, the proponents are obliged

to pay for the tax of their business and it will be paid by October 15, 2021.

10. Computation of Cash Flow. After a month of operation, the proponents will

compute for the sales and cash flow within the operation to know if the business

is being sustain and effective. Computation of cash flow will be done by October

16, 2021.
1. Meeting for the New Variety of Pie. Since one of the short-term objectives the

Satis-pie.ph is having different variety of its pioneer product, the proponents will

conduct a meeting regarding adding a new variety of pie by January 10, 2022.

2. Identify the Possibilities of the Product. The proponents will identify first the

possibilities if establishing a new variety of product to be able to know if it is

feasible to the market. It will be happening on January 17, 2022.

3. Planning and Conceptualizing. The proponents will start the planning and

conceptualizing on February 1, 2022 to know what will be the product to be

released on the market.

4. Create a Product Plan. To be able to conceptualize the new product, the

proponents will create a product plan by February 23, 2022. It is to formally put

into reality all the ideas and to know if the new product is possible.

5. New Product Research. After creating a product plan, research will be conducted

by April 2, 2022 to dig deep and to know the product even more.

6. Look for Supplier. The proponents will start looking for the supplier by April 17,

2022 who is able to provide all the needed things and can manufacture the product

to the business.

7. Meet and Deal with the Supplier. After searching, the proponents will be meeting

with the supplier to talk about the needs and wants of the proponents about the

product and to partially deal with them. The meeting and dealing with the supplier

will happen on May 30, 2022.


8. New Product Testing. Product testing will happen on June 4, 2022. It is to ensure

that the desired taste of the proponents will be the exact taste that will be released

in the market.

9. Meeting for the Finalization of the Product. The proponents will meet again to

talk about the new product and discuss some changes that is not according to plan.

The Meeting will happen by June 19, 2022.

10. Finalize the Agreement with the Supplier. The proponents will sign an agreement

together with supplier of partnership by July 4, 2022 to close the deal and be able

to supply the new product.

11. Meeting for the Launching of New Product. By July 10, 2022, the proponents will

meet again to discuss and strategize about the launching of the new product to be

able to introduce it to the Philippine market.

12. Order of Product from the Supplier. The proponents will advance the order by

August 22, 2022 so that it will be exactly release on the date it should be and to

avoid shortage or loss of stocks.

13. Meeting for the anniversary of the Business. Since the business operations is

turning 1 year, the proponents will meet and talk about their marketing strategy to

be able to acquire more sales while celebrating the 1st year anniversary. It will

happen on August 30, 2022.

14. Celebration for the 1st Year Anniversary. The celebration will happen on

September 18, 2022 up until September 25, 2022.


15. Discount Promotion. The proponents decided to give discount promos for the 1 st

year anniversary of the business operation. It will happen during the week of

celebration which September 18, 2022 to September 25, 2022.

16. Renewal of Business License and Permit. The proponents will renew its business

license and permit by September 26, 2022 to legally operate the business as well

as to avoid any violation.

17. Delivery of New Product. The order will arrive by October 1, 2022 and it will go

through quality checking and testing to ensure that it will satisfy the consumer.

18. Product Advertising. the proponents will start to advertise the product through

online and personal by October 9, 2022 to make it known to the customer and

loyal consumer.

19. Launching of New Variety of Pie in the Market. The launching will happen by

October 23, 2022 to the market only through the physical store.

20. Availability of Product through Delivery. The proponents will then launch it

through delivery service by October 31, 2022 to reach out those customers who

can’t go personally to the store.

Year 1

Year 4

Open a new retail branch store at the neighboring city. We already had created a business

plan which we can refer to as we push through the new retail store. It will be done by

January 25, 2023 and must end by March or May 25, 2023.

Designing the new retail store. Usually this will include buying of furnitures and

equipments that will be used in the store. This will be having an allotted time of three

months from May 30, 2023 to July 30, 2023.

Hiring of Potential Employees and Staff. This will start by the time that the store was

built and already finished. But the assessment for the applicants will start at August 15,

2023 up until September 03, 2023.

Soft Opening. The opening of the new retail store branch will be held by September 05,

2023.

Conducting a Customer Service survey. By the first week of the opening of the new

branch. Customers may participate in a survey that will be held by September 05, 2023 to

September 12, 2023.


Computation of Cash Flow. The annual Sales Revenue Report should be done by the end

of the year.

Progress Report. This will be the meeting where the financial status of the company will

be discussed. This will happen when the first 2 weeks of the new year arrives.

Year 5

Contact Potential Wholesaler Buyers. The company aims to be a distributor at other

leading bakeshops and cafe. In order to do that the company must look for potential

partnerships among other leading bakeshops or cafe. This will be given an allotted time

of Three months from January 10, 2024 up until March 10, 2024.

Contract signing for partnership will be prepared by March 12, 2024. The contract

signing will be held after all the companies have come up with an agreement that both

parties agrees. This will be held by June 06, 2024.

Distribution of Wide range of products for partners will start at June 08, 2024 that will

hopefully be done by September 03, 2024.

Hiring for needed extra employees and Staff will be held by the start of September

2024.The assessment of applicants will be done by November 25, 2024.

Computation of Cash Flow. The annual Sales Revenue Report should be done by the end

of the year.

Progress Report. This will be the meeting where the financial status of the company will

be discussed. This will happen when the first 2 weeks of the new year arrives.
By the end of year 5

The business is expected to:

Establish a company. This will be done From January 15, 2025 up until March 25,

2025.This will include legal processes that will be needed for the company.

Finding potential investors for the company that will be established will start From

March 26, 2025 to June 10, 2025.

Formation of Departments will start by the time that the building was equipped with the

right equipment needed. This will begin by June 11, 2025 to September 25, 2025.

Signing of Contracts for New Investors will be held one by one. This will start at

September 27, 2025 until November 10, 2025

Launching of new menu. By the start of December 2025, the company will launch its

new menu that will be for the upcoming Christmas season.


Organizational Structure

The organizational structure is typically the hierarchical arrangement of lines of

authority, communications, rights and duties of an organization. It determines how the

roles, power and responsibilities are assigned, controlled, and coordinated, and how

information flows between the different levels of management. A structure depends on

the organization’s objectives and strategy. In a centralized structure, the top layer of

management has most of the decision-making power and has tight control over

departments and divisions. In a decentralized structure, the decision-making power is

distributed and the departments and divisions may have different degrees of

independence.

Since the type of the proposed business in the form of partnership, each owner

distributes and divided the different types of work involved in the business. The

proponents are an example of general partnership wherein a business entity is made up of

two or more individual to carry on a trade or business. Each owner will contribute

money, property, labor, and special skills. Each of them will share profits and losses from

the business.

General Manager

 Overseeing daily business Operations

 Plan, coordinate and manage all business operations to achieve corporate goals.

 Develop and implement business plan for profitability.

 Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing program and recommend improvement

 Researches and analyses market trends, demographics, pricing Schedules,

 Manage the day to day business of the operations

Financial Manager

 A degree and several years’ experience in the financial field will be required to
