A. The Preparation: (August 13-14, 2020)
1. Working in groups, look for a Filipino myth or folktale in the internet. (*Groupings are assigned by the teacher to be
announced in Day 1 of this week.)

2. Cite where you found the myth and who retold this. (URL/link)

3. Discuss the plan for your virtual folktale portrayal in a private online area prepared by the teacher called the
“Backstage Rehearsal Area.” The portrayal will be presented using BrainPOP’s “Make-a-Movie” tool.

B. The Making: (August 17- 21, 2020)

4.Go to brainpop.com.

5.Log in to your account and enter the following code to join Grade 7 classroom. : tape0641
6.View home page and click on the “Make-a-Movie” tool.

7.Next, click on the “Write New” option and start making your creative adaptation/portrayal of
your chosen myth or folktale.

8.Remember to always click “Save” button found in the upper-right of the page to save the progress of
your movie.

C. The Presentation/Submission: (August 21, 2020 until 12:00 midnight)


9. Once you have finalized your movie, click on the “Submit to Teacher” button located on the upper-right of the
page.

10. It will show you a prompt to “Choose a class”. Click on “English 7” and “Submit”.

11. And that’s it! The teacher will send you a feedback to confirm your submission.
