This rubric evaluates research papers for a social psychology course across several criteria: 1. Topic/focus - The paper should have a focused topic that is narrow enough for the assignment's scope. 2. Integration of knowledge - The paper demonstrates the author understands and applies course concepts and provides concluding remarks that analyze and synthesize ideas. 3. Cohesiveness - The paper flows logically from one issue to the next and shows understanding of the relationship among sources. The rubric provides ratings of high, average, or low for each criterion based on demonstration of the criteria in the paper. A total score out of 60 is provided.
