7. Work Sequence; Hot insulation rock wool & cladding work
1. Minimum Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) to be worn in workshop as follows:
 Overalls,
 Hard Hat,
 Safety Footwear,
 Eye Protection,
 Gloves,
 Reflective Vest
 Full Safety Harnesses (where necessary).
 Full body disposal cover
2. Work Preparation: Prepare PTW and conduct TBM before start Work
3. Provide suitable Equipment’s in work area for the fabrication and cladding job.
4. Before start the job should be levelling the ground.
5. Clear area for working afforded at all times by client.
6. Checking all equipment and cables & grinder, machine status before work establish.
7. All the equipment is to be inspected and should be color coded.
8. Fire extinguisher must be available close machine all time in workshop.
9. All new materials shall be used. Materials showing any evidence of containing contamination or
moisture shall not be used.
10. Insulation materials for equipment and piping shall be suitable for the application, operation, and
temperature and be compatible with the contained fluids.
11. Transporting aluminum roll to workshop by Hiab & putting that in decoiler machine. mobilization all
materials to workshop by boom truck
12. Going to open aluminum roll for cutting by using decoiler Machine
13. Marking the sheet for cutting as per required.
14. Cutting aluminum sheet by using flat cutting machine or hand cutter.
15. Start fabrication cladding in work shop after preparing every facility.
16. Starting to do one stencil for cladding work.
17. Start rolling sheet by using rolling Machine &after that bending this sheet by using Bending Machine.
18. Fabrication elbows- T & washer &cap &every think for cladding work for equipment.
19. All cable and electrical tools should be secure.
20. Distribute materials to respective areas.
• Cover sharp edges with protective materials
• Inspect on correct usage of PPE
• Provide, maintain and use appropriate gloves
• Conduct training on proper manual handling techniques
• Enforce in-house rules and regulations

• Demarcate safe storage areas for cladding during installation

1. Start Job On The Site
 Conduct TBM before start job
 All person use specific PPE during work.
 All worker should be wear full body disposal cover during installing insulation.
 Install life line (if anywhere required).
 All person should be wear full body harness and 100% tie off.
 Pulley should be install for material lifting ground level to top level
 Provide suitable equipment for shifting insulation and aluminum materials to the work place.
 Provide special gloves for installing insulation, cladding and for jacketing.
 All person should be keep eye washer with them each one 1 bottle.
 Before start cutting insulation rock wool should be install plastic sheet on the scaffold.
 To Keeping save all person by allergy put barricade and signage and provide one watcher ( if
required)
 Before installing insulation clean the pipe and ensure that it is free from dust, oil, grease, mill
scale etc.
 For surface preparation provide suitable water pump.
 Water pump should be inspected and color coded.
 Fire extinguisher should be provide with water pump
 Cutting the insulation rock wool by hand cutter for fixing for pipe &equipment.
 Start to installing insulation rock wool blanket for equipment, insulation shall be secured with SS
bands 304.
 Fixed cladding sheet for the equipment with screw & nylon washer by drill at every150mm by
using drills cordless
 When fixed cladding &finished all this proses going to close all gap by silicon ,for this stage using
gun silicone for waterproof the insulation rock wool
 When finished work remove all hand tools to workshop & keep the place free from the materials
&hand tools &etc.
 Housekeeping should be done during &after work.

HSE Requirements/Precautions:
Inducted, Trained & medically fit for job workers.
Mandatory & Job specific PPE’s in accordance.
Daily TBM before start of activity.
Valid work permits with updated risk assessment & relevant certificates.
Conducting special training / drill for awareness of the particular activity hazards.
Work area barricading & relevant signage according to SECL HSE regulations.
Full time First aid facility and emergency response preparedness.
Full time job supervision by HSE supervisor and job supervisor.
Pre & Post inspection of activity and tools.
Pre & Post housekeeping for work area to eliminate the residual hazards.
Emergency access always should be clear.
Report all unsafe condition work injury and illness to SECL HSE.
All equipment before start the work has to be inspected by HSE & stickered.
At all time this work all the personal should be using all PPE necessary for insulation work.
Using dust mask, plastic gloves, eye protection & overall cover clothing.
After each shift, change body ware then he wash carefully hands, face, throat and nose.
The rock wool materials Non- contact with skin because of allergy
Every personnel should be have one eye wash.
Possible risks of electric shock at workshop
All the personnel should be observant for cabling from cutting or electrocution in workshop area
All the personnel must be aware of the potential risks and remember the use of safety devices.
If have any loading unloading of the materials must be take lifting permit & barricaded area.
When finished work must be clean work area from tools &materials …etc.
Housekeeping all the area during &after work.
