CHAPTER 1
USING COMMAND PROMPT
Just use the command prompt to make your copy of window’s CD bootable .It is so simple just
you have to follow the following steps:-
1.Just download oscdimg from http://www.sevenforums.com/attachments/general-
discussion/32382d1256189124-make-bootable-iso-student-d-l-oscdimg.zip .
2. Extract oscdimg and copy it to C:\Windows\System32.
3. Open Command Prompt As Administrator.
4.Just write the following command:-
If you have no spaces in your path then type first one
oscdimg -n -m -bc:\efi-dvd\boot\etfsboot.com c:\efi-dvd c:\efi-iso\server2008dvd.iso
else type following
oscdimg -n -m –b”c:\efi-dvd\boot\etfsboot.com” “c:\efi-dvd c:\efi-iso\server 2008 dvd.iso"
where c:\your folder containing windows\boot\etfsboot.com is the path of your windows
folder where you have placed the windows
and c:\efi-iso\server 2008 dvd.iso is the output folder of that iso image
\boot\etfsboot.com can never be changed in the path because etfsboot.com is the boot
information file for Windows 7 & Windows Vista
Now you have iso image of windows in the folder you have specified
5.Burn the CD using Nero or Roxio Media Creator
CHAPTER 2
USING ULTRA ISO
1.Download and install ULTRA ISO in your PC from www.filehippo.com
2. Run it
3.Add Windows folder
4.Open Boot and select ETFSBOOT.COM
5.Click on the set as boot file(marked with black circle in image below)
6.Now save the file as ISO and then burn on CD
7. Your Bootable CD-DVD is ready
CHAPTER 3
USING POWER ISO
1.Download and install power ISO in your PC from www.filehippo.com
2. Run it
3.Open new project
4.Add Windows folder
5.Open Action in Menu Bar
6. Select Boot then click on Add Boot Information
7. Select \boot\etfsboot.com Marked with circle in following picture as boot file information
file:-
8. Now save the project as ISO file
9. Then burn on CD-DVD using Nero or Roxio media Creator and enjoy bootable Windows CD
CHAPTER 4
USING DeepBurner
1.Download and install DeepBurner in your PC
2.Run it
3.Add Windows Folder
4.Then select ETFSBOOT.COM as Boot file as follows:-
5.You can explore many options in DeepBurner for CD editing
6.Then burn the image using it or save the file as ISO.
7. Enjoy Bootable CD.
