1. Online Registration
Applicant must first register online on
https://apply.spicestaracademy.edu.in/pta while ensuring that all
the above-mentioned eligibility criteria are met.
Please note that a non-refundable application fee of ₹5,000
(Rupees Five Thousand) is required to be paid while submitting
the application online.
2. Application Screening
Once the application has been submitted, the same shall undergo
internal screening process. In case the applicant is selected for
further assessment the academy team will get in touch with details
regarding the selection process through an e-mail and/or SMS.
4. Selection Process
The selection process is scientifically designed to determine the
suitability of the applicant for the job of an airline pilot and is
divided into 4 phases.

Note:
a. Applicant must note that only upon successfully completing each Phase, can he/she move ahead to the next phase.
b. Phases 1, 2, 3 and 4 are usually completed on the same day, unless postponed. The applicant will be duly informed.
c. Final results will be announced on the same day after Phase 4 test, unless postponed.
d. Phase 1, 2 and 3 are computer-based tests.
e. No cell phones or calculators are allowed during the test.
COURSE CURRICULUM AND DURATION
Depending on the choice of course and upon selection, the following will be the course
curriculum and tentative duration for each course.
Phase 1 13 months 200 Hours of Single Engine Flight Time along with the
Commercial Pilot License and recommended Syllabus as provided in:
Instrument Rating (Single Engine) i) DGCA CAR Sec 7, Ser B, Pt IV, Issue III dated 16 Jun 2011
ii) DGCA CAR Sec 7, Ser B, Pt VII, Issue I dated 16 Aug 1999
Note : SpiceJet does not require a
Multi-Engine Rating for induction into its Note :
Q400/B737 Fleet. •Cadet Pilot will be provided flying training with SpiceJet designated
flying academy.
•DGCA CAR’ means the Civil Aviation Requirements as issued and
amended periodically by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, India.

FEE STRUCTURE
CADET PILOT PROGRAMME
First ₹10,00,000 (Rupees Ten Lac) Within 10 days from the date of Non-refundable
letter of admission
Second ₹30,00,000 (Rupees Thirty Lac) Within 14 days from the date of a. Refund of ₹10 Lac on
commencement of the assigned failure to complete
batch under the Pilot Programme Private Pilot License
(PPL)
b. Refund of ₹ 5 Lac on
failure to complete

Fourth ₹24,50,000 (Rupees Twenty Within 14 days from the date of Non-refundable

Note:
a. The amounts mentioned herein are exclusive of all applicable taxes and GST, which shall be charged and will be payable additionally
b. For Cadet Pilot weighing more than 80kgs, their flight training will be done exclusively on the C172 aircraft and there will be an additional charge of ₹ 4,92,000
plus GST to be paid with the second instalment
c. The cost for any extensions mentioned herein under the Pilot Programme’ is to be borne by the Cadet Pilot additionally @ ₹14,500 per hour for Cadet Pilot
weighing less than 80 kgs and @ ₹18,000 per hour for Cadet Pilot weighing more than 80 kg
d. In exceptional circumstances, where the Cadet Pilot is unable to complete the respective phases of the Pilot Programme, the Academy may in its absolute
discretion consider refund of the unaccrued fee as per the extant policy of the Academy

CERTIFICATION AND DEGREE REMUNERATION ON
