This document describes an optocoupler circuit. The circuit uses a 555 timer chip configured as an oscillator to generate a pulse signal. This signal is fed into the emitter of an optocoupler, whose collector outputs an isolated pulse signal on the other side. Capacitors are included for filtering and a diode for half-wave rectification. The optocoupler isolates the pulse signal electrically on the output side.
