Selection Practices of National Bank Limited: An Evaluation which was assigned to
me as a partial requirement for the competition of my MBA Program.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recruitment and Selection Process is one of the regular functions of Human Resource
Department of National Bank Limited with a view to enhancing the utilization of human
resource that future helps the employee to achieve the organizational goals as well as their
individual goals. This study includes how recruitment and selection process performed,
source of recruitment followed and step involved by National Bank Ltd.
At the first chapter -the origin of the report, objective, scope and the limitation of the
study is provided to identify the report’s background. The methodology of the report
covers the research type and sources of data and collection procedure of this data whereby
the non-probability convenience sampling was used. The companies’ overview, its vision,
mission, strategic objectives, values, ownership structure etc provide an insight about
their activities. Gathering practical experiences in various divisions and visiting of
Human Resources Division in several times helps to disclose the actual condition on
recruitment and selection practices of NBL. Next, some basic concept of recruitment and
selection of National Bank Limited are identifying from the practical point of view by
conducting the survey through questionnaire and from the secondary data.
The analyses part of this report helps to disclose their actual condition on recruitment and
selection polices. The major findings and drawback are identified and according to
findings the possible recommendations are provided which may be helpful to overcome
the problems.
