Good evening everyone! Welcome to Kate’s 18th Birthday Party! Welcome to a night of pastel
colors in celebration of a wonderful life for a girl who is now turning into a fine lady. All of you
who are here tonight have watched her grow over the years into the wonderful person she is
now. This is quite a very important event in her life and she is very delighted that you were able
to join here in this momentous day. As a jumpstart, let us all welcome and acknowledge the
ever supportive and loving family of our debutant.

Opening Prayer

Wow, blooming and lovely, indeed! I’m sure everyone were stunned seeing this beautiful lady in
front of everyone. We are all excited to fill this place with joy and excitement but before dive into
all of those things, let us first thank our almighty father for bringing us all together in this place
and ask Him for guidance and protection. Please remain standing for our prayer.
Welcome Remarks – Parents

Amen. Thank you Lord for bringing these beautiful people together. Are we all joyful? Yes!
Because tonight we are celebrating Life. We are celebrating blessings and we should all be
grateful for that.
Evidently, before tonight, Kate has had happy years in a very happy home. The love of a family
will always be God’s greatest blessing. Sabi nga nila, in life we can have several friends,
classmates, and social circles, but there is only one family who is always willing and ready to
welcome us no matter what. Ladies and gentlemen, to answer the question kung saan nga ba
nagmana si Kate, here’s Mama ____________________________ to welcome all of us to their
lovely daughter’s 18th birthday party.

Tonight is a celebration and sa isang celebration isang bagay lang po ang hindi ng hindi talaga
mawawala. Ang Pagkain. Ngayon, we will have first our dinner para may energy tayong
magcelebrate throughout the program. At this moment, I’d like to request everybody to please
stand as we say our prayer before meals to be lead by _______________________________.

At this point in time, kikilalanin natin an gating celebrant. While others are eating, me and my partner
will have a game. Ang kasali po sa game na ito ay lahat po ng nandito ngayon.
Ang gagawin po natin is that, we will be asking questions about facts about our debutant. Kung sino po
ang maunang makakakuha ng tamang sagot, of course, makakarecieve ng price.
This game is also a way of knowing our debutant better.

Mother and Daughter Dance

Since everybody have already eaten, we will now proceed to the next exciting part of the program! Our
firsts are the best experiences in life. From the first steps, first word, first pet, first crush lalong lalo na
ang first dance. The father and daughter dance is probably one of the most loved traditions in any
Filipino debut celebration. This signifies the daughter’s first step to womanhood and the father’s
acceptance of this period in his daughter’s life. But, Given the situation of Kate’s father, na
nagtatrabaho sa malayo, he cannot do the first dance. Pero, mama is here to save the day. Ladies and
gentlemen please welcome our debutant and her loving mother as they dance to the music that they

Like a pretty flower that attracts bees and butterflies, Kate will be surrounded by 18 equally handsome

“Where there is great love, there are always wishes.” Willa Cather. Because birthdays are always new
beginnings, new endeavors with new set of goals, sending birthday messages and wishes is a
tradition especially in our country, where we give high value to family ties and relationship.
Ladies and gentlemen, we present to you the 18 wishers for our debutant. These are the people close to
the heart of our celebrant, and whom she listens and confides to for inspiring words and friendly
advices.
Reminding every wishers to blow their candles after saying their wishes to the celebrant because Many
ancient cultures believed that smoke carried their prayers to the heavens.

Gift giving during special occasions is a tradition to us Filipinoes. We give gifts to people dearest to us
especially in special occasions like this. With that being said, ladies and gentlemen, we present to
you the 18 treasures for our debutant. These symbolize things that the debutante needs to succeed
on her journey towards womanhood. Here are Eighteen people dearest to the heart of our
celebrant. And we are pretty sure that these gifts will be treasured and cherished for the rest of

With the coming of age, comes the bigger responsibilities. Isa na dyan ang Financial management. We
cannot deny that money is a necessity, so to educate our celebrant with the wisdom about financial
responsibility, here are 18 people who will teach our beautiful lady right here the importance of
money to achieve financial stability and independence in the near future. The 18 blue bills.

Singing of Traditional Birthday Song

Let me share another good-to-know trivia to everyone on how birthday cakes and candles came about
as a tradition during birthdays. Some believe that the tradition of birthday candles began in Ancient
Greece. Putting candles on a cake was a special way to pay tribute to the Greek moon goddess,
Artemis. They baked round cakes to symbolize the moon. Candles were added to represent the
reflected moonlight. Today’s tradition of making wishes before blowing out the birthday candles
may have started with that belief. Enough of all those did-you-know trivia because at this part of the
program, our lovely and stunning Kate will blow the candles on her birthday cake. And to complete
that customary practice, let us all sing joyfully a song I am very sure everybody is familiar with, the
happy birthday song!

A word from the Debutant
Tonight’s celebration tells me that the best demonstration of gratitude in response to a wonderful
experience like this one can be contained in an overwhelming thank you. Maraming salamat po for
making us a part of this memorable occasion. And if there’s one person here tonight who is more
than grateful to see all of you, that would be our beloved celebrant, Kate. I’m giving the floor to our
dear debutant to give her message for all of us.

thank you for having me here to celebrate with all of you. Isang malakas na “Happy birthday, Kate!
