Parts of the assembly kit B 4237-1/-2:


• 1 x K 1409 system rack, 5 units high, 19 inch with integrated cable
tray, with a hinged receptable for the label.
On the rear buffer batteries (G1, G2), HIMA part no. 44 0000016. It
is recommended to change the buffer batteries all 4 years.
• additional modules on the rear
2 x Z 6011 decoupling and fusing to feed the power supply
modules
1 x Z 6012 fan with fan run monitoring and fuse monitoring
2 x Z 6013 decoupling and fusing for the supply voltage of the
WD signal
1 x Z 6007 jumper plug (only included in assembly kit B 4237-1)
1 x Z 6017 jumper plug (only included in assembly kit B 4237-2)

include the modules:


• 2 x F 8652A central module (CU1, CU2)
• 2 x F 7130A power supply module 24/5 V DC (PS1, PS2). The 5 V
outputs of both power supplies are switched in parallel.

Modules for option (separate order)


• 2 x F 8621A, F 8625 or F 8626 communication modules (CM1, CM2)
• max. 13 IO modules (slot 1 to 13) resp. 1 x 7 and 1 x 6 IO modules,
slot 1 to 7 related to central module 1 and slot 8 to 13 related to
central module 2 if used as assembly kit B 4237-2.

The assembly kit is usable since operating system BS 41q/51q V7.0-7.

External fusing
The fusing of the assembly kit via XG.24/25 with fuses up to 16 A must be
provided.
The I/O modules via XG. 6: 1-13 corresponding to the slots with fuses of
4 A max. must be protected.

It is recommended to use the HIMA feeding and current distribution


K 7212 (redundant feeding up to 35 A total current, with 2 decoupling dio-
des and 2 network filters, with fusing of up to 12 single circuits with circuit
breakers) or
K 7213 (redundant feeding up to 35 A total current, with fusing of up to 12
single circuits with circuit breakers).

Note for earthing


With installation of the assembly kit a conductive connection to the frame
or a separate earth connection has to be installed according to the EMC
requirements.
Connection: Faston 6,3 x 0,8 mm

Attention: Pay attention for the manufacturers information concerning de-


taching and replugging of the Faston connectors!
