Information Interview Worksheet (aka Professional Coffee Chats)

Use this worksheet to prepare for a professional coffee chat. Identify the questions that you want to ask before
you arrive. Strive to genuinely learn about them and make a personal connection. Don’t ask for a job or promote
yourself aggressively. This should be a mutually beneficial meeting. Keep track o f the time so that you don’t
overstay your welcome. Afterwards, thank them via email, or even better a hand written note.
