 The teacher will post some jumbled letters on the board to be
arranged by the students.

 They will classify it according to its function. Books, internet
 After answering the activity, teacher will check their work and
give additional points to those who got the correct answers.
 The teacher will now start the discussion proper.
Differentiation:
Mini-Lesson:
 The teacher will post some images about computer and let the
students differentiate if it is belong to HARDWARE or
SOFTWARE applications.

Student Engagement:
 The teacher will let the students create any symbol that would
represent any of the applications. After that, they are going to
make at least 5 sentences in explaining it comprehensively.

1. Hardware is also called the machinery or the equipment of the


computer.
2. Examples of the software application are the keyboard, the monitor,
the mouse and the central processing unit.
3. The most important of hardware is the motherboard.
The motherboard is made up of even more parts that power and control
the computer.
4. Software is also known as programs or apps
5. Software implements algorithms (problem solutions) that allow the
computer to complete much more complex tasks.
6. Software is divided into two major classes namely: system software
and application software.
7. System software Allows users to accomplish one or more tasks. It
includes word processing, web browsing and almost any other task for
which you might install software.
8. Application software Helps run the computer hardware and computer
system itself
9. System software includes operating systems, device drivers,
diagnostic tools and more.
10. Some application software is pre-installed on most computer
systems.
