The process by which the writer reveals the personality of a character

The Functions of Characterization

An essential component in writing good literature as its introduces depth to characters and situations.

Helps us make sense of the behavior of any character in a story by helping us understand their thought processes.

Leads the leaders or audience to relate better to the events taking place in the story.

Describes why a particular character behaves a specific way.
