Banana Autopsy Lab Report


According to the external examination, we found 4 centimeters cut on the ventral
surface. The wound shows that it was a midsagittal cut. The cut was 2 centimeters inferior to the
head of the patient. On the left side of the patient, a bruise is found lateral to the wound.
Another bruise was found on the waist of the patient’s left surface. On the dorsal surface, we
found 2 spots of bruises, one was located superior to the body trunk and another was above the
leg of the patient.

For the internal examination, we found that the cut was about 1 centimeter deep into the
cranial cavity. In the thoracic cavity, there was a bruise at the left pleural cavity of the patient. At
the left pelvic cavity, there were several small points of bruise. Internally, the dorsal cavity has
no bruise or any damage.

According to the investigation, we assume that the patient died because of the extreme
blood loss from the wound at the cranial cavity. We conclude that the patient died from the
accident from his work site. As mentioned in his background, he worked as a construction
worker and during his work, as predicted, a large piece of metal sheet dropped from the second
floor and striked onto him.
