Writing Task 1 : (Time: 20min, word limit minimum 150)

Create a believable scenario for the reader depending on the situation. Major
steps include: GRERESN (Greeting, Reason, Explanations, Request, Ending,
Signoff, Name).
 GREETING:

 Unknown:
Dear Sir/Madam,

 REASON:
 Introduction Paragraph: Write no more than two lines and explain
the reason, mostly mentioned in the question paper.

 EXPLANATION:
Detailed description of the problem which needs addressing. Mostly the
longest para in the letter. Include natural names and dates to make it
sound more believable.
 REQUEST:
Address the action required to be executed by the reader in a polite
way.
 ENDING:
Ending with a one liner sentence.

 SIGNOFF:
Formal:
Yours sincerely,
Informal:
Yours truly,
With thanks,

 NAME:

Writing Task 2: (Time 40 min, word limit minimum 250)
 Introduction paragraph:
It should start by supporting the topic mentioned in the question and
paraphrasing it in to your own words. In the second sentence the writer
should express two main idea to the reader in order to provide a pathway
for him to follow. Third sentence is called Thesis sentence which will
mention the overall discussion in the leading body paragraphs starting by “
In this essay (Thesis statement) will be discussed.”
 Body:
Followed by the explanation and examples of it.
 Conclusion:
Start by “In summary, “ and it should only be a three liner. Conclude the
arguments made in the body (2 key ideas) and connect it to the
introduction (topic) .
