F.I.T.T Principle is a basic philosophy of what is necessary to


gain a training affect from an exercise program. This is a tried-
and-true method of putting together an efficient workout plan.

Physical Fitness is a condition that allows the body to effectively cope


with the demands of daily activities and still has the energy to enjoy
other active leisure activities.
Benefits of Regular Physical Activity
If you are regularly physically active, you may:
• reduce your risk of a heart attack
• manage your weight better
• have a lower blood cholesterol level
• lower the risk of type 2 diabetes and some cancers
• have lower blood pressure
• have stronger bones, muscles and joints and lower risk of developing
osteoporosis
• lower your risk of falls
• recover better from periods of hospitalization or bed rest

• feel better – with more energy, a better mood, feel more relaxed and

Conduct the F.I.T.T guided activity. Do the activity with some family
members and a reflection after the exercise. You may follow the
personal F.I.T.T plans made from the previous sections of this module.
Things to do before conducting the physical activities:
1. Set goals for the physical activity
2. Start physical activity gently
3. Do stretching and other warm up activities
4. Wear comfortable clothes
5. Prepare necessary equipment (if any needed)

under what category of F.I.T.T. principle. Write F for frequency, I for
intensity, TP for type and TI for time.

1. John scheduled the exercises at 5:00 am in the morning.

3. The Bataan Football team focuses on stamina training.
4. The students of Bataan run for 5km instead of 2km from their
previous training.
5. The recommended workout time is at least 45 minutes.
