The founders of the university exemplified the values of perseverance, responsibility, and vision. Jose C. Olivares founded Our Lady of Fatima Hospital and envisioned training healthcare workers there. He strived hard to pursue his dreams, which led to Fatima's continued success. Dr. Vicente M. Santos and his wife Juliet continued Olivares' vision and expanded the university's programs while establishing the values of "veritas et misericordia." Their daughter, Dr. Caroline Marian Santos Enriquez became the third president and further improved and expanded the university, such as establishing a new campus in Antipolo.

How would you describe the founders of the university? Identify and describe the values
they had exemplified as the pillars of the university.
The first one is Jose C. Olivares, he founded Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in
Valenzuela. He imagined the general hospital to turned to be a medical complex that
will train the health care workers. In 1973, they developed Our Lady of Fatima College
of Nursing and eventually the first batch of students graduate from Fatima 100% passed
in the Nursing Board examinations. Olivares strives harder to pursue his dreams for
Fatima and it’s happening now because Fatima is consistent topnotchers in the Medical
Board. He only shown to not to stop pursuing your dreams strive harder so that it will
come true.
The second one is Dr. Vicente M. Santos and his wife Mrs. Juliet Olivares
Santos, they continued the vision of Mr. Olivares. Before Fatima only offers the
programs of the College of Nursing but in 1990 they improved and it offers more
academic programs about business, technology, and maritime. Eventually, Mr. Santos
became the first president of the university as a tribute to Mr. Olivares, and this time it
starts the virtues of “veritas et misericordia” which means truth and compassion. But in
2003 he died so that his wife Mrs. Santos takeover of being the second president of the
Fatima. She held it uniquely the university recognized by the CHED for its quality
education. Mr. and Mrs. Santos conserved the Fatima so well as it improved more and
innovate. It only described that they care about the dreams of their father and make it as
they dream also and to continuing achieving their goals in life.
The third one is Dr. Caroline Marian Santos Enriquez became the third president
of the university due to the death of Mrs. Santos. She continued to improve the
university and had a lot of recognition. She continues to expand the university and in
2008 the OLFU Antipolo was established it helps the people in Rizal because at last,
they have a university who offers great quality education for the students. Dr. Enriquez
shows to be responsible and compassionate to your work so that it’ll be successful and
grow even more.
All of them showed perseverance in their dreams, they become responsible and
visionary on their work so that it will become successful. And right now, Fatima became
rise to the top because of their hard work and I know they’re happy because of their
hardships paid.
