Jose Rizal arrived to Barcelona in Spain he made his first
nationalistic essay he wrote in abroad, “Amor Partrio” which
was later published in Dairong Tagalog to complete his
studies and widen his political knowledge through exposure to
European governments.
Hongkong He opened a medical clinic. A Portuguese friend, Dr Lorenzo
P. Marques helped him to have plentiful patrons of various
nationalities. His successful operation on his mother’s left eye
allowed her to read again.

Colombo, Sri Lanka Sri Lanka that was important for him to improve his knowledge
of the French language.

Madrid To pursue his medical studies in the Universidad Central de


Madrid. He also took courses in philosophy and letters.

London Rizal manually copied and annotated Morga’s Sucesos de las


Islas Filipinos” a rare book available in the British Museum. He
also become the honorary president of the patriotic society
Association La Solidaridad and wrote articles for the ‘ La
Solidaridad.

Germany He attended lectures in the University of Leipzig and worked


on with his mission of enlightening his filipino brethren with
inspiring stories by translating the story of the Swiss
independence and some of Hans Christian Andersen’s Fairy
Tales to filipino.

England he was admitted to the British Museum, where he copied


Antonio de Morga’s massive study of the Philippines, Sucesos
de las Islas Filipinas, which Rizal later annotated for
publication “as a gift to the Filipinos.” In the museum he
devoted his time reading all the sources on Philippine history
that he could find.

Japan Rizal could talk the Japanese language. He had a hard time
for shopping for he could not be understood with his situation,
Rizal decided to study the Japanese language. He was able to
speak within a few days. At Japan he studied the Japanese
drama, arts, music, and judo.
France Rizal went in France because he want to observe how
medicine was being practiced there.

Egypt establishing Sentro Rizal in Cairo and expressed hope that it


will inspire all Filipinos living in Egypt, especially the second-
generation and mixed heritage members of the community, to
know more about Philippine culture. He likewise spoke on the
genius of Dr. Rizal, not only in the field of literature and
medicine, but in social reform, and how his works and actions
inspired fellow Filipinos to fight for the country’s
independence.
Australia Rizal advocated reform by peaceful means rather than by
violent revolution and He helped create a new climate of
thought throughout Asia, leading to the attrition of colonialism
and the emergence of new asiatic nations by the end of World
War II.

Switzerland Rizal also translated the Swiss play William Tell written by
Friedrich Schiller from German to Tagalog.  He translated
William Tell to enable the Filipinos to know about the struggle
of the Swiss people against the oppressive Hapsburgs.

Philippines He is well-known for being a propagandist and his way of


fighting the Spanish Government through his writing by
revealing the inhumane manipulation of the Spanish
Government in the Philippines

___Base on the travel history of in Dr. Jose Rizal he went different country to study and meet different people to encourage him and
contribute of those country to Jose Rizal to improve he's skills and improve he’s knowledge to save the Philippines to end the
colonization of Spaniards so that I’m very proud of Jose Rizal to went the different countries to gain more knowledge and help to make
novels like Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo so that we need to give a respect to Jose Rizal to all he’s hard work and give
value and importance of he’s contribution of our country.
