Non fictional programme


Non fictional programme are reality based content programme which do
not include any fiction.

Types of Non Fictional Programme

1. News- News is the most common programme format in non-fictional


category which is supposed to be reality based. These days news
channels are showing lots of content that is recreated with the help
of drama. For e.g. crime news originally narrates any real life event.
The main news channels are :DD News, Zee News, Star News, Aaj Tak,
NDTV.

2. News Programme- News channels presents these sort of programme


which are dependent on conversation and discussion. A wide range
of current issue programs. These days news channels are exploring
different avenues regarding blended organizations which are hard to
place into single class. For instance, Janata ki Adalat, Hum Log, The
Big Fight are the projects having exceptional personality of their own.
Programs dependent on contemporary issues as syndicated program
and visit show. Talk Show is generally formal and on difficult issues.
Chat Show is casual in its introduction and substance. Discussion
ordinarily has an anchor alongside two or numerous
visitors/specialists. Discussion base on a focal topic or issue.

3. Documentary- This is another basic non fictional program design. All


narratives portray reality. Documentary might be identified with the
travel industry, climate, history, science, innovation and so forth.
Nowadays there are stations devoted to narratives just like Discovery,
National Geographic Channel, History Channel, Animal Planet. There
might be numerous sorts of narratives dependent on the theme and
treatment. All travel industry narratives have a travelogue design.
History narratives need to rely on dramatization. Science narratives
depend on animations and computer graphics.

4. Reality Show- Nowadays reality shows are new mainstream designs.


There are two significant sub classifications in all reality show. One is
down show, for instance Kaun Banega Karorpati and another is
ability chase show, for instance Antaakshari, Sa Re Ga Ma, Indian
Idol.

5. Live Show- Television channels broadcast live events like news or


even sports. Live cricket match, Independence Day parade of India or
Live News can be the examples.

Fictional Programme
Programme dependent on any story, play, novel or fictional work goes
under this class.

Types of Fictional Programme

1. Cartoon Show- Nowadays cartoon shows are very popular among


kids. All cartoon shows or animation shows are based on fictional stories
and the only factor which make them different from one another is the
way of presentation.

2. Epic Serial- Serials which are based on the epics like Ramayana or
Mahabharata. These two are the classic example of Epic Serial.

3. Soap Opera- The most well-known fictional program design is Soap


opera or daily soap drama. India's first Soap Opera was Hum Log
broadcast on Doordarshan in 1984. Later numerous different serials like
Buniyad, Khandan etc. were made. Drama were broadcast a few times in
per week however later on some every day drama were additionally
communicated. In nineties, Shaanti and Swabhiman were amateurs in
every day drama.

4. Series- In series, the main character and climate of the topic stays
same yet in story changes in consistently or third episode. Usually this
sort of program is made around a profession like Tehkikat and CID are
two well known programmes about detectives while Reporter is about
an investigative journalist.
